"Had a fantastic holiday in this wonderful Gite which located in the stunning Dordogne countryside. Everything about this property is first class from the quality beds and linen to all of the many first rate appliances, a proper home from home with nothing missing. The pool was an absolute godsend as was the highly efficient and quiet air conditioning which is present in every room. The location was perfect just a 5 minute drive from the beautiful medieval town of Monpazier. Sonia and Mark were...

"We stayed for a week and hired both gites for our family. It was utterly perfect in every way - we wanted for nothing. We most enjoyed the privacy of the main pool which overlooks luscious countryside bustling with life and the stunning western sunsets in the cool sky. Sonia and Mark are consumate well experienced hosts who always try to accommodate any requests where possible. "le loueur est un homme charmant qui a des choses très intéressantes à raconter sur son amours des chevaux. Le gite est d'une propreté impeccable et dans un endroit isolé mais à un quart d'heure des courses et une demi-heure de la sous préfecture où il y a tout ce qu'on veut y compris cinéma, théâtre, manifestations festives et culturelles etc.. le hic ce sera la canicule qui ne relève pas de la responsabilité du propriétaire! Bref, excellent séjour."

Hôtel de France Bergerac

10/10 Excellent

"It was very convenient for sightseeing. There is a public parking lot across the street as well as street parking. We were there in late September and it was easy to find parking."

Brit Hotel Europ Bergerac

10/10 Excellent

"This is a fantastic hotel! It is ideally situated to the railway station for days out to Sarlat and Bordeaux. Equally, it is close to the historic centre. The staff were warm and friendly and very helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We would stay here again if in Bergerac"

Hôtel & SPA Le Gambetta, Centre-ville, Bergerac

10/10 Excellent

"The friendly staff were so helpful and made me feel very welcome during my staff. The lift was out of order and the woman offered to help with my luggage and they were able to arrange a taxi for me in the morning. My room was spacious and modern. It benefitted from a small balcony to sit out on. The breakfast selection was good and a great selection of cheese, fruit and traditional baguettes. A short stroll from the hotel takes to to the old town and the train station is close by."

Château Hôtel Edward 1er

10/10 Excellent

"Exceptional Stay Once Again at Château Hôtel Edward We recently returned for another stay at Château Hôtel Edward, and it continues to exceed our expectations. Having stayed here previously, we are consistently impressed by the standard of excellence maintained across the board. The staff is truly outstanding—attentive, highly trained, and always going above and beyond to make every guest feel warmly welcomed and well cared for. Dining at the restaurant was a highlight of our trip. The food was excellent, paired with a well-curated selection of drinks that made each meal feel special. Château Hôtel Edward never fails to deliver a memorable, high-quality experience. We look forward to returning again soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a flawless getaway!"

Château les Merles

10/10 Excellent

"The Chateau was amazing. The staff were the most helpful team we have ever met. Travelling with a 4-month old baby was made so easy, by their care and understanding. They just couldn't do enough for us. Thank you, everyone. Our room was very large, the sitting room was great and a big spacious bathroom for the three of us. Eating outside was magical, in the courtyard with pretty lighting candles, etc. The food was incredible. The surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful. Perfect. Thank you again, Roy and Jackie"

Hôtel Le Roxane

8/10 Good

"Perfectly fine for a budget hotel, on an industrial estate off the ring road. It's clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The pool was a definate bonus on a hot day and for a pre breakfast swim. So long as you're not looking for rustic, romantic, french charm, then it's a good place for a stop over on a long journey."
