"We booked a secret wedding in London and needed a place in the middle for our families to meet up. It catered for all of us! We had 2 children under 3, and 14 adults but it didn't seem cramped. Everybody was comfortable and content. Antoine was super responsive, and so was the young man who checked us in (I can't remember his name unfortunately!). "Outstanding stay at butterfly barn, couldn’t fault anything. The place was very clean and tidy on arrival, the check in process was easy and Stephanie is a lovely host. Nothing was too much for Stephanie, she was able to accommodate all our needs flawlessly, which made the stay that much better. "Liked the ease and location of the property. It was great place to put our heads down for our visit to family who live locally. I would probably use this place again in the future. Two minor things I would change if it was my property. Better curtains or curtains over the blinds for the bedroom. ( the Venetians let in quite a lot of light for a bedroom) The other thing is the bed in the bedroom is comfortable but is very creaky. "This place could be very nice, if maintained properly. However, the lights in the living room did not work, and there was laundry hanging in the living room. We notified the owner, but did not hear back after the initial phone call. The water in the shower did not reach the showerhead, as it was leaking. So we could not shower. The place was dirty, kitchen quite sticky and there were condom wrappers under the bed. Lots of empty bottles and cigarette butts in the yard. Obviously we will not be...

"Beautiful cosy cottage in a sweet little village. We had the most wonderful mid week family break. Very nicely decorated with everything you would need. Steep stairs and uneven floors but nothing we couldn't cope with-added to the fun! We took the new family puppy and it was in a perfect location for the county park and lovely walks. "The property was perfectly situated with local amenities withing walking distance - we didnt have to touch the car for the duration of our get away. The property itself was a great base with more than enough sleeping space for the 6 of us. The only downside that we noticed was the lack of a comfy sitting area after a long day of crabbing down on the jetty. "Travelled down for my brother's wedding and had all the family and friends from the states staying. The place was perfect for what we needed and there was plenty of space for us all. Plus the 3 toilets and 2 showers was very handy for everyone getting ready."

"Amazing location. Right in middle of where you want to be but so peaceful too. Love dual aspect windows in main bedroom which overlook the sea. Rowland has added a great garden sofa/table area outside with optional sun screen, so we spent most of our time chilling in the garden, soaking up the view and enjoying the fresh catch of the day from over the road.
