Red Light District Vacations

"Hotel was manageable and staff were very helpful. On the contrary the location was HORRIBLE. The street was located around brothels and hookers are all outside at night at every corner, very horrifying. Not family friendly due to location. As a woman I felt very uncomfortable in this location. Please be mindful."

"The roadside was left very untidy with lots of litter. No one cleaned it away in the 3 days I was there."

"The whole area is the red light district. They locked the doors early and opened them later in the AM. I could hear the door bell ringing, because it was locked. They also wanted to check the room before you left. I didn't have anything to hide, it was just weird. Nothing is around the area. "

"The positives: we had beds to sleep on, a pillow and a blanket (although it was still damp from hopefully the wash) there was a bottle of water for each of us, air conditioning worked well. The front desk worker was helpful to get us a taxi early in the morning for the airport. "Clean and basic room. Nothing fancy, which is fine if you are okay with that. It had a fridge, but no closet or iron. Had a water kettle. Room was basically 2 beds and a small walkway between the 2, along with a bathroom. Id like to see a longer shower curtain or a contained shower area, as the water got all over the bathroom floor. Not a big issue though. Location was decent and was close to train and bus lines. It took one bus line to many major tourist attractions, merlion, sentosa, lau pa...
