The Neighborhood:
Red Lodge, nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, is a wonderful place to visit if you are looking for family fun, a place to touch the wild, or just a chance to let your hair down. Whether you are wearing Birkenstocks or cowboy boots, you will find something to do here. (Although downtown is paved and we even have sidewalks, Jimmy Choos are probably not a great idea!)
In winter the road ends here. Downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding and sleigh riding are just the short list of activities that you can do when visiting us.
In summer we revel in the Beartooth Pass opening. We are only 68 miles from Yellowstone Park, but plan on a good two hours` drive as the “Pass” is stunning in high mountain vistas, rocky cliffs, and jeweled lakes. The Custer National Forest is a haven for wildlife including elk, moose, mountain goats, big horn sheep, bears (black and grizzly), mountain lions and wolves. Golden marmots are often seen dashing across the trails. Golden and bald eagles often visit our area, as well as sandhill cranes and blue herons.
Getting Around:
Red Lodge has a taxi service and Uber for transportation in the area. Red Lodge does not have a commercial airport. Guest(s) can fly to area airports and drive to destination. Area airports and approximate distance to Red Lodge: Logan International Airport (BIL) 60 miles, Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) 147 miles, Yellowstone Regional Airport (YRA) 64 miles.

We provide a sample amount of soaps, shampoos, and lotion to get you started.
Red Lodge, Montana is a rural community that does offer internet and cell service throughout most geographic areas but, some locations are completely void of any internet or cell service. In town and within a 3-5 mile radius of downtown you will enjoy solid cell signal but during times when our population increases due to events, celebration (such as the Fourth of July), or emergency situations such as a wildfire you will notice that these online and cellular services slow down and sometimes, they can slow down to the point where you have to wait to place a call. We can’t do anything to help in these situations, so we encourage people to enjoy the freedom of being “unplugged” and to be patient.

We had a fantastic time here over Thanksgiving. The cabin is so cozy and comfortable and warm, and the hot tub was fantastic. Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday! We would love to come back!!
We loved the cabin. So cozy and has everything you need. The hottub was excellent for the cold nights. Location is great for walking downtown for dinner and cocktails.
We stayed at Wild Bills Cabin in Red Lodge over Memorial Day weekend. It was quiet, romantic, and had wonderful amenities. We stayed three nights. The food and shopping in Red Lodge are amazing.
Perfect little get away, celebrating our Anniversary! Hot Tub was Clean and Nice. I felt bad about leaving dirty dishes, but the exit directions said to put them in the sink
love the cabin close to everything we got to ride over 350 miles in the park and out. It was so great loved the Hot Tub, the animals, the deer and the turkeys. Really nice!! the maintenance guy was so nice answered a bunch of questions about the area. Love to stay again
Great little cabin with all the essentials needed. We cooked breakfast and lunch. The hot tub was wonderful and relaxing. The only thing I would suggest is salt and pepper and a pizza cutter. Thank you we will be back.
A great location to town, river and hiking (and skiing if it was winter). Setting in the adirondack chairs to enjoy morning cup of coffee or an early evening happy hour, to breath in the peace, color and quiet. The hot tub after a day out of hiking is so relaxing and a real treat. The Beartooth highway was closed, so town was not the summer time busy as a gateway to Yellowstone National Park.

Perfect spot while in town for a wedding. Conveniently located and easy to get to. Such a warm and cozy stay! Would highly recommend and will hopefully go back
This is our third time staying with AAA Red Lodge Rentals on the edge of a lovely Main Street and within view of the mountains. We walk to restaurants and shops and drive only a few minutes to trailheads and the awesome Beartooth Pass. What could be better?
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Red Lodge. Cabin in excellent location with easy access to downtown. Cabin was clean and met our needs. If I had one recommendation it would be to definitely upgrade the coffee maker. Would suggest a k-pod style. Would definitely return.
The property was cute and cozy! Perfect size for two. Clean and easy to access everything needed. The hot tub was a great relaxing amenity! I would definitely stay here again!
