"Enjoyed our stay at the Alpine Lodge. The location is excellent. The grounds are right on the river. Plenty of deer to feed and enjoy. The hotel is older and the rooms are very small. They have been remodeled and it was clean. Provided a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and coffee. No hair dryer though."

"Everything was amazing. I've been staying in Red River for years and have stayed in a number of places, with experiences ranging from "meh" to bedbugs. I'll never stay anywhere else again! This was the first place that actually felt like a hotel rather than hotel-that's-really-just-a-rental. I'll state the one negative first: no elevator. Other than that, I can't think of a thing I would change. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable (5 pillows for a king—yay!), and there was plenty of space for luggage, accessible plugs, great AC/heat, a fridge, microwave, and a window that opened all the way. Being riverside, I loved hearing the water. The bathroom was sparklingly clean, with 2 washcloths, 2 hand towels, and 2 bath towels for EACH person. Glorious! Parking is a huge plus. There are so many lodging options in Red River where parking is limited or nonexistent. Here, parking was easy and plentiful. Breakfast was another surprise—they cook eggs to order, and they're done perfectly! The hot tub was sparklingly clean, with plenty of towels and benches. Looking out over the river from the hot tub was the very definition of idyllic. The fire pit and grills looked great too. I hope you give the Best Western a try when you're next in Red River, NM!"

"The room was clean the bed was comfortable of the mattress and the pillow the only issue was there was no hot water in the shower but there was hot water in the sink and the room was a little bit cold and looked like some people left some food in the refrigerator that was never picked up and trash was still full of trash other than that everything was good"

"Awkward check-in as office doubled as the employee's apartment. Room was mostly clean...kitchen area had a broken handle on microwave and was filthy underneath where you had to open the door since the handle was not there. Ice maker in freezer did not work. Outside had lots of debris in parking and walk area...mostly cigarette and beer caps. Still a lot of remodeling construction, but on other side of building from us...so not a concern."

"Great location in arroyo Seco. Can walk to the Taos Cow for breakfast and to Sol market for necessities. Excellent for spending the day at Taos Ski Valley for skiing or mountain biking,and then relaxing in the hot tub after."

"A nice place for sure! Met up with my brother for some reconnection. A nice little pond out front with some trout, which we caught and ate fresh. Nice rustic cabin with pretty much all the amenities you need. We rode to New Mexico on motorcycles and managed the only little bit of dirt road which was graded. The fire pit was really cool, nice art work. Overall a nice place to escape for awhile."
