Retro charm in the heart of Redcar

Nice retro-feel about the property; it's clean and my room is cozy and comfortable. Makes a change from a bland corporate chain. Nice lady on reception; very helpful.

I found hotel nice clean no friles tv did not work no coffee or tea or milk but did have a ketle and two cups and no on sweat forcilites just a sink in room therr eas a barth and toilet just down hall which was Clean which was no problime to me I had a grate sleep in bed the next time I go to redcar i will be stopping at the same hotel just loved it thanks for having me there.

One star - and that's Janet

Very basic, cheap and cheerful. Bed was very comfortable. There's a kettle in the room and a couple of cups but you need to provide your own tea, coffee, milk, sugar, etc. Luckily there's a small shop within 100 metres. Despite being billed as a B&B, there is no breakfast. Janet is the Receptionist and only staff, and she is a star. Ask her anything about the local area and she'll tell you best places to go. If you need anything for your stay, if she can provide it, she will.

Very clean and tidy

We stayed at the booing for one night. From the outside it is a little outdated. When the owner came to the door she was very pleasant. Checked us in took us to the room and showed us where the bathroom was. We were brought fresh towels later on. We stayed in room 3 which was a family room. Very spacious a little outdated but very clean and tidy and warm. Tv in room with Wi-Fi for free. The bathroom was modern which was just along the corridor. All in all we would definelty go back as got a great price and it’s only 1 minute from the beach.

It was fine, but I arrived fairly late and there were quite a few groups of youths hanging around the area. It was a bit intimidating when I went back to my car and there were 8 or 9, 15 to 16 year olds standing around the vehicle.

Good value for money.

It is not a B&B, its not aimed at LGTBQ +, it has no parking at present. Its a nice basic hotel with shared bathrooms. The room we stayed in was clean, warm, had a small sink, kettle, cups and saucers, freeview tv, wifi. We had access to a huge bathroom with bath and shower. The boss lady Janet was lovely. Very warm amd welcomming. There is a car park at the rear of the hotel, you can park all day for £6 its free after 6pm. Some aspects could do with updating but its recently been taken over so perhaps this will be done soon. 9/10 would defo return.

Certainly wasnt worth the £94.50 for the room only,tv didnt work,door handle kept falling off the door,making it hard to get out of the room,for the price that was paid it should have been a lot better,lady on reception was about the best thing about this lodging

OH DEAR.

The property is in very run down condition, needing complete renovation. It was listed as including car parking, but the road outside was for resident parking only. I was directed to a pay car park where I paid £4. I was told I would have this refunded when the proprietor turned up, but he never showed. I had to ask for coffee, and there was no spoon. I had to provide my own soap to wash in the room. The soap in the bathroom had hairs stuck in it! The lady concierge was helpful though. And it was £cheap!
