"The image that they have up on Expedia about what their room looks like is 100% NOT their property!!! The room is ancient and smelled weird and the pillows were old, flat, and lumpy! The lobby, pool, and picnic area is nice and accurately pictured. The area of town isn’t nice either. The breakfast choices were scant. And the power went out so there was no way to make a frozen waffle or easily pack up when we went back to the room! My main complaint was the fact that the misrepresented the room!! "

"Clean room and bathroom. Wish there had been soap or salts for bathtub. Property could use a good clean up outside, windows, porch etc. Food was excellent as was tea time. Staff was very accommodating."

"Quaint English style Inn in beautiful Southern Humboldt. The best thing about this place is the bar/restaurant. We had dinner there each of the 3 nights we were there. Service and food were excellent. The room was unique with heavy scent of smoke from the wood burning fireplace (which we did not use). "

"The staff is exceptionally helpful and accommodating, the property is clean and the grounds are well kept. There are a few things that need attention, but nothing a good handyman can’t fix. I prefer this hotel b. The wi-if is free, the staff are so nice, and the hotel is very quiet. It is located at the perfect end of town, across the street from the best restaurant in Garberville, the greatest thrift store, and the only real grocery store in town."

"Close to the freeway is about all I can say. The pool and hot tub was out of service. No discount for that either. I wont go back"
