"I did not use the hot tub, or have breakfast at the hotel"

"Breakfast was amazing, the dining area was spacious and staff were very helpful and kind. Karen went out of her way to accommodate us and set aside one of our favorite dishes for the last day! Suites were clean and again very spacious with everything you need to cook if you want to. We had an issue with noise from a repair from the room next to us the first day(uncommon I’m sure), but the property manager moved us immediately and gave us a credit for the inconvenience. The hotel is overall quiet, no road noise and a good location for Manhattan beach. It’s about a 15 minute drive with traffic and there is parking available for $2/hour on the beach. Manhattan beach is quiet and family friendly with a pier that is beautiful at night! We stayed for 6 nights and would recommend! "

"The hotel has a lot of potential. It has a lot of character and the location is right on the water. It has a beautiful view of the harbor. I enjoyed sitting out at the fire pit. I wish I had known the hotel was undergoing renovations ahead of time. The restaurant had limited selections. Beverages and snacks were scarce in the makeshift gift shop as well. There was a Keurig in the room, but I had to purchase bottled water from the gift shop to use it. I was able to make do, but if I had been traveling with my family, I would’ve driven across the harbor and gone to a restaurant or grocery store. "

"We walked from the airport to this hotel, which was so convenient. The rooms were spacious and clean. It was incredibly quiet and the bed was really comfortable. My son got to do some plane-spotting, even though it was foggy. Nice staff too!"

"Wonderful staff. And a shoutout to Juvenal, one of the shuttle drivers - happy, helpful, funny but not overbearing. Also to the staff that checked me in and out. I should have got their names. This is perfect for an overnight to catch a flight the next day. 24 hour shuttle service, Free breakfast which was a yogurt for me. Nothing glamorous but adequate. The room was dated and a little moldy smelling but linens were good and bathroom was clean. Would recommend because of the staff -all went above and beyond to make this a good stay."

"This hotel is very closed to LAX. It is excellent for a overnight stay for flight."

"Overall it was fine. Little things are what our complaints would be. It was very expensive at the places to eat there. Also not a lot of breakfast options for kids. We bought yogurt and cereal in the gift shop but again, expensive, and they were never stocked. The shower would run cold and then would turn off and on. It was convenient and close to Universal Studios though. "
