Lovely Inn in a great location. Very welcoming friendly staff and some lovely little extras, bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge and beach towels provided. Modernised and beautifully presented throughout

The hotel room was very comfortable great bathroom with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was very good quality ingredients. All the staff were polite and friendly very nice stay and we would definitely recommend.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Room was comfortable, clean and cosy. Slept really well! Restaurant was good and the live music was good fun in the bar. Really recommend it. Favourite overnight on this coast path trip

Excellent all round.

This is a fantastic oasis for travellers to rest, recuperate and be looked after. The welcome i received was warm, friendly and kind. Was given all the info i needed for my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice touch to have fresh milk available for guests and any bits and bobs they need / have forgotten. I ate dinner and breakfast. There is a good variety of dishes to choose from and the food is wonderfully tasty. I thoruoghly enjoyed my stay. Thank you to all the staff who work hard to make this place so good.

Up & coming hotel

Our room was lovely, the hotel is under new management and is currently being refurbished so it might be a consideration as the builders started early, although quietly.

Rooms clean and lovely. Was mix up with being booked with dog into room for no dogs but they were able to make switch with other room so all ok in the end.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was staying alone and all the staff made me feel welcome. All areas of the Portreath Arms clean and tidy. Room was excellent. Slept well.

Nice room and pleasant staff . Very good breakfast , Only thing that tainted our stay was the dog was not allowed to eat in restaurant and we were directed to the bar or outside . Neither was an option as the bar was packed due to sport and outside was cold . So no evening meal . Some leniency on our dog in restaurant would have been appropriate given the situation .

Comfortable costal welcome

The staff were excellent, the room very clean and welcoming ! Excellent greeting for our dog too with dog bowl and treats ! Breakfast looked simple but then they brought out the full breakfast and it was exceptional. Would definitely visit again and recommend!

The staff at Portreath Arms were welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. My only complaint is that the bacon was overcooked, but otherwise the breakfast was lovely.

Portreath Arms - excellant stay

Warmth welcome. Comfortable beds, warm shower, clean room, towels provided, refreshments in room such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits etc. Breakfast included, cerals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, fruit juice, tea/coffee and choices of cooked breakfast.
