You need to stay here. It was amazing.Quietest place I've ever stayed. Beautiful house. Beautiful scenery. Lovely Kitchen. Properly seasoned Cast Iron! Wouldn't stay anywhere else when we go back.5 minutes from an excellently stocked Grocery store.10 Minutes from Avenue of the Giants.(Must see drive hike trails)10 Minutes from some decent Places to eat Out.45 Minutes from the Coast and Lost Cove.An Excellent home base for seeing some very amazing things.I thought it was going to be a Bit far from the Airport(ACV) but it was a Nice drive strait down the 101. All in all An excellent Vacation thanks largely to the House we stayed at!

Perfect for a Redwood Vacation

This property was the perfect spot for our family to meet up and enjoy the beautiful Redwoods. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again someday. The property was beautiful inside and out.

This was a good basic rental in an area where it was hard to find three bedrooms. Everything was clean.

Family reunion

Private, with plenty of space. We really liked the proximity to Avenue of the Giants, our main reason for visiting.

Wonderful location for exploring the redwoods. Room for everyone to spread out and relax. Loved hearing the creek when falling asleep at night. Hope to visit again sometime.

Great Get-Away Spot

The house was beautiful with a lovely view. The property is beautiful and secluded which we appreciated. The large windows let in a lot of light and give wonderful views of the yard and stream. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with equipment. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Tranquil Sanctuary

We arrived after dark and were immediately greeted by the soothing sound of Redwood Creek and a sky full of stars. The house was stunning, clean, and cozy with the radiant floor heating. After a good night's sleep in comfortable beds, morning revealed the awesome view.. it was a great homebase for exploring the Avenue of the Giants. We'd stay here again!

Perfect mini vacation

We’ve had an amazing time. This vacation home is perfect getaway. No neighbors, beautiful redwoods and creek, we were surrounded only by nature. Loved everything about it. We will definitely be back soon.

Paradise

While planing a visit for my father’s celebration of life we found this gem. Perfect location (for our visit), amazing views, and the cleanest and most comfortable hot tub to be found. Located next to a bend in the river, you get bubbling brook wadding pool 20’ from a wonderful back deck. Clear instructions for everything.

My boyfriend kept telling me make sure you leave then a good review

My boyfriend and I chose to celebrate our 3 yr anniversary in this cabin. We absolutely loved it. A 10 out of 10 in our eyes. The check in was the easiest that we've experienced experienced in our travels.

Beautiful!!!

I loved the privacy and privacy fence. Loved seeing deer in the mornings and Laying in hammock watching stars! Very clean. Comfortable bed.

Amazing find!

We had a long weekend here and it was fantastic. I was so sad to leave I wish we had booked a longer stay. Absolutely beautiful house and property. Clean and very well maintained. My kids had to much fun splashing in the stream and we all loved the nearby hikes through the redwoods. The cliff in the backyard looks so much bigger in person, it is huge!

Better than expected

This property is amazing! Totally private, plenty of yard to throw a football or frisbee, mesmerizing landscape, gorgeous trees, creek wraps around the property, hot tub was perfect at night, and my kids and their dad loved the full size ping pong table. Nature all around, so peaceful, we seen deer every day we where there. Looking at the stars in the night was breathtaking. Highly recommend for a family getaway. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the near future.

Gramma girls getaway

Nice secluded home. Host was responsive to our requests. One of the bedrooms did not have a chest of drawers. No place to put items of clothing that could not be hung up in the closet.

Redwood Retreat

Beautiful home in lovely setting. Our stay was unusually hot so if the prediction is for high heat (100 degrees) understand that it can be very warm. Nights were always delightfully cool so we could bring in the cold air in the late evening and early morning. If temps are in the low 90s and below during the day, it would be quite comfortable. Countless hikes and forests and lost coast beaches within an hour drive. Nice amenities. Great place.

A Little Bit of Heaven

Loved our stay. Great location. Needed some assistance to find it. The owner/property manager helped us when we thought we were lost. It is past the redwood grove park....just keep going. It is worth it. Big, clean, right on the creek...and a HOT TUB! And wildlife all around. The deer and her fawn were wonderful to wake up and see in the morning! Loved it!!

What a GEM of a spot!!

We all loved this house. You can sit in the living room and be at peace with the view alone! House is clean. Quality kitchen appliances and equipment to cook. Bedding and beds very comfy with no shortage of pillows to choose from and blankets to stay cozy! It’s quite a spot! So close to all you’d want to see in the redwoods! I saw a prior complaint of marijuana smell.from the neighbors We did not experience that at all…. But even so, that’s not this owners fault or anything that they could control. I highly recommend this spot!

Family gathering for Avenue of the Giants Marathon

Our family had a memorable weekend enjoying the beautiful redwoods and all the peace and quiet of the area. The property is right next to a stream and there are lots of beautiful trees and flowers all around. The house is clean and spacious and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable and the three bedrooms are private and quiet. I really liked the quiet heating system and beautiful windows and skylights...even on chilly, rainy days the house is cozy and light. Our two small dogs were in heaven...they got their own giant dog bed and plenty of space inside and outside. (even a fenced area to run around) Adding to the fun were the hot tub (seems new and very clean) and the ping pong table! We had a great time.

Perfect Home away from home

Situated on a beautiful piece of nature, this was calming and restful. The interior was clean and with lovely decorator touches. I found it perfectly functional with elegant simplicity - kind of like a Scandinavian Zen with all the nice wood tones. The home is also along the route to Shelter Cove which was a beautiful if windy drive and sweet destination (make sure to eat at Gyppos), not far from Avenue of the Giants to the North and all manner of lovely parks to the south with swimming holes and hiking trails. Be sure to ask about the presence of blue green algae, however, it is very dangerous for dogs and we were unaware of it happening until told by a ranger. Very lovely.
