Quality Inn Kilmarnock

8/10 Good

"We passed on to the staff that some things needed to be cleaned in the room. Also the headboard needed repair. We passed on that the tub wasn't draining properly in the room. The staff was great and said they would take care of it."

Secluded, Waterfront Retreat: Fire pit, Private Dock, Game Room, Kayaks!

8/10 Good

"This is our second time staying at this lovely home. The house is very clean and stocked. The neighborhood is so quiet and being on the water is awesome. We were very disappointed to see the dock is was under repair so only half of it was accessible. The dock is huge deal to us so I wish this had been disclosed to us. Orher than that we had a great time."

8/10 Good

"We stayed at this waterfront house at Judith Sound from October 9–13 with our family of four and our hound dog. We enjoyed spending time outdoors, kayaking, fishing, playing darts, and kicking around a soccer ball. We spent about 4–6 hours each day enjoying the outdoor activities. Unfortunately, we never managed to catch a fish! The weather was beautiful on our first day, rainy for two days, and then cleared up for another lovely day.Our biggest concern was the number of large spiders around the exterior of the house, particularly near the entrances, as well as downstairs. This was something we found pretty uncomfortable during our stay.We also had an issue checking in because the keypad was dead. We had been told the house would be left unlocked, but it was locked when we arrived. Thankfully, we were able to contact the owner, who provided us with the lockbox code so we could access the spare keys.A few things to note for future guests: there were no laundry detergent pods or dishwasher detergent pods provided, so bring your own. There were also no extra trash bags. Only one bag was available, which was barely enough for our stay, and we would have needed more had we stayed another day.Overall, we enjoyed spending time together as a family and making the most of the waterfront location. With better management of the spider issue, a smoother check-in process, and a few additional basic supplies, the stay could have been even better."

10/10 Excellent

"Very cozy cottage in a very quiet marina. Great place to get away and just decompress. Hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming, the cottage was exceptionally clean. A couple small towns close by have all amenities you could reasonably hope for within striking distance. Thank you!"

10/10 Excellent

"This is the fourth summer we have stayed at Shore Fun and we love this place! The house is clean, there is lots of space and the kitchen is well stocked. Some new appliances this year were a nice surprise. The property and pool are well maintained. This area is quiet and a great place for relaxation. Owner is fantastic and communication is great. I definitely recommend this property!"

10/10 Excellent

"The houses were even better than expected from the photos. Very spacious and comfortable. The pool was perfect for the kids. Crabbing off the dock was an unexpected surprise. They even had a steam pot to cook them. The outdoor tables were perfect for eating them. The area is quite but there is plenty to see and do.Lori was a great hosts."
