"The location in Short Pump was great. This was one of the loudest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Children were running up and down the hallways knocking on guest doors. Playing with the elevators etc. I am sure it was harmless fun, but for the price we paid per night, and the fact it’s considered a resort w/ a spa, we thought it would be a bit more upscale."

"Our hotel room had stained sheets, dirty floors as well as blood on the wall. When we attempted to go back to the main office to let them know of the non-cleanliness & to get another room, the worker was no where in sight, after about five minutes of calling the phone we eventually had to ask people coming from the upstairs banquet room (that sounded like a party was happening) if they knew where the worker was….which they did. After another couple minutes of them going upstairs the worker never came down to which my boyfriend went up to the banquet hall to tell the guy we need assistance. We did get another room that night. Upon checkout the next day there was another guest complaining of the same things plus throw up in the sink. I would not recommend staying here. "

"1) Dodgy area. not sure I would walk the area at night. View from my room looked out on a graffiti covered building across a parking lot. Be prepared for ambulances and sirens blasting at least 2 or 3 times during the night. 2) rooms are all different, but my room was...less than optimal. The bed was was 9 feet from the door which opened directly into the main part of the room When I lay on my side, bright lights from the hallway shone through the cracks between the door and the frame. It was like staring at bright night light. It's always better when the door does not open directly into the main room, which shields the occupant from light and noise. 3) I did not care for the mattress. I am not a fan of memory foam, even it is only a topper. It's very hot to sleep on. Between the light from the door and the uncomfortable mattress, I did not have a good night's rest. 4) The hotel shuttle does not run often enough. We attended an event at the train station, and when we called the hotel for a pickup, they said they could not be there for an hour. We called an uber instead; I think the room was over-priced. I've stayed in nicer hotels for less. The lobby is impressive, but one doesn't sleep in the lobby. I probably would have given the experience 3 stars instead of 2 if the price were more reasonable. "The room was clean, however the couch and bed were very comfortable. The elevators only half worked and it seemed very unsafe to ride at times. People were slamming doors and children were running up and down the halls screaming and yelling. The experience was the worst we have had overall compared to our other trips. "

"The staff was really non present and not outgoing to talk to. The lobby was not clean and had trash laying around. For a non smoking hotel the whole hotel smelled of smoke. The room was clean enough but the floors had not been deep cleaned and right after the shower walking around my feet were black again and i had to wipe in bed just to be clean to go to sleep. Will not stay here again. "
