"We flew into Deer Lake and stayed at this hotel for one night prior to carrying on to Gros Morne. This hotel was a pleasant surprise! The beds were so comfortable, the pillows were perfect! It was quiet even with our room across from the elevator. The breakfast in the morning was complimentary and had a lot of options! But the freshly baked cookies were definitely our favourites!
They were putting in new carpets in the hallways, but the work finished at a respectable time so didn’t affect our stay.
My kids loved the pool and slide.
Definitely wish all Holiday Inns were like this one!!"
"Such a great place. Too bad we were not able to stay long. There is a shared bathroom, that was very clean. They offer a breakfast, which was probably outstanding with all their fresh fruits, vegetables and eggs - yes they have chickens, geese, lambs and vegetable gardens and strawberries growing there. However, we had to leave early to catch the ferry and we’re still offered a great continental breakfast. Such a refreshing and relaxing place to stay. A glimpse of living close to the land. They also host my add-ons, including farm to table experience."

"This was a very cozy place! Lovely decorations, well furnished. The stairs up to the bedroom were a bit steep (just for future visitors with mobility issues) but everything was very comfortable and clean! Highly reccomend for a getaway, beautiful grounds! Was so funny to see the chickens milling about as we were leaving! "
