"The Eliassen Rorbuer was absolutely amazing!! The staff was helpful before the trip answering all of my questions which I had a lot. The view was amazing. Make sure to try to get a cabin that looks out to the Mountain View. I recommend this to everyone. It is a quiet little site and has a great restaurant Gadus on site and a close walk to Anita’s which the fish soup was delicious! I want to go back already!!! Thank you so much!"

"This is a lovely, remote and charming restaurant with rooms above where we stayed (you can also rent cabins). The rooms on the floor above the restaurant are clean and comfortable but do not have en suite bathrooms. Shared bathrooms are down the hall. However, there is the convenience of being in the same building as the restaurant since there are so few eating establishments in the village. "The marketing photo (above) is a misleading advertisement. There are studios built on stilts overlooking our accommodation and blocking the advertised sea view. The properties website does not currently show them either. Total misrepresentation and underhandedness"

"For the price you pay we would expect a little bit more service and overall quality. The rooms are very simple and things in kitchen not working properly. The area is very remote and facilities poor compared to all the other places we stayed at around lofoten. "

"Little off the main route , but should not matter if you have a car. I was not familiar with Rorbuer concept so was little surprise to not see any toiletries provided. But owner was nice to provide bedsheet and towel. Please be aware that breakfast not provided.Local people may be aware of this concept , but going from US I did not know that you are supposed to carry some stuff with you. Over all good experience and cost economical "
