I’m glad I listened to most of the reviews for this place. We came for the sheep farm, but in the end this manor made the stay worth the scary drive from Hualien.
From the beginning, they made us feel like special guests. The valet driver understood my hesitation to park my rental car in these small tight spaces and asked if he can take over and then he parked the car with so much ease. Then we were directed to the lobby where our hostess explained to us about our stay while another hostess served us warm tea and biscuits.
I mentioned how we were very early for our check in and they said it wasnt a problem and our room was already available. Then the hostess showed us around the premises and our room. Explained all the various activities and times they are available. I was a bit hesitate to stay here for the pictures dont do the actual place justice. Also the price seemed a bit high, but the reviews kept mentioning how it was worth it and they were right. We have paid more in other places of the world for far less then what we received here. Some say this was a b&b because it only has 19 rooms. It felt more like a mini luxury hotel with a b&b atmosphere only because it was like 3 homes on one large lot. I recommend this place 100%. Its definetly one of our top 5 hotels and the food, the service, the Madriga Suite we stayed in was all excellent. Taiwan isnt a tipping country, but I tipped everyone. The service was just that good.
