"This really was a most magical place to visit, the peace and calm of the area was just what I needed after hectic working weeks! I wish I had stayed longer to enjoy more of the spa, the village is hard to get to, and very small but the hotel makes up for that. The night we stayed there was a lightning storm and the hotel came to collect us from the local pizza restaurant which was so kind! A lovely places with lovely staff, cannot recommend highly enough! "Optisch eine wunderschöne Unterkunft. Es ist sehr ruhig und abseits vom Trubel gelegen. Die Umgebung ist malerisch. Mit dem Auto kann man auch gut die Umgebung erkunden. Zu Fuß oder mit dem Bike kann man auch einiges entdecken.
Das Zimmer ist schön, stinkt aber sehr. Der schöne alte Schrank hat unfassbar (!!!) gestunken, den konnte ich nicht nutzen, war auch sehr staubig von innen. Das Dreibettzimmer ist klein, eher für 2 Leute ausreichend. Man braucht dringend einen Schrank um seine Sachen...

"It was a great accomodation for our family visiting lake Como. The location is remote and car is a must but its lovely quiet and green there.
The rental unit was spacious and clean.

"View from our room was INSANELY BEAUTIFUL. From the balcony we saw mountains, nature, and water. And it was a quiet area. The restaurant downstairs was very very pretty and delicious. And the dessert looked like it was from a fancy 5 star restaurant. Short drive from lake como which is very beautiful and walkable. And there were parking spaces available in the front and back."

"Great base for exploring the beautiful area. Car essential. Highlight was our train ride from Lecco to Varenna and walk up to the castle. Host Nicolla very responsive and helpful. Thanks very much for milk/biscuits/prosecco! Very comfortable king sized bed. Second bedroom very small with a single bed that extends to a double- not ideal for two teenagers to share.
Shower room small with limited hot water but temperature outside was so hot it was fine.
Kitchen facilities more basic than expected, no oven. Two hob cooker. Washing machine very helpful. No air-con upstairs. Air-con downstairs not very powerful and rather loud. TV sound quality poor.
