Great location, great faciaities staff was friendly and helpful. Location was ideal with the hotel having both beach and pool, beach is pebble so some may not like that. Highly recommend this place. Only warning is price does not include 15 E per day tax which would be nice if this was included in payment instead of asked for at the end of the stay/

Beautiful Hotel right on the beach. Air Con in first room did not work, they immediately tried to fix and after day 2 with still not Air con, they moved us to a different room.

Great stay if you prefer outside the main town.

Generally, my stay was great—starting with my room (#400), which I highly recommend if you don’t mind having two single beds. The view is great (pool and ocean view). As always, there is one minor “problem” if we are picky. At one point I asked one if the younger server-helpers whether there was water available (because I asked after the breakfast buffet closed). Instead of going to check, he told me to go and check. The one server, Evaggelia, was fantastic!

Blocked drains that smell constantly on your balcony. Drilling at 6.55 am. Sea view rooms are not side view rooms. Hotel has no sea view rooms. Miwadi for breakfast replacing fresh juice. Food ok but disappointing choice apart from breakfast. V clean nice pool area, beach has a lovely view but dont try swimming with out protective shoes. 4 star premises. Could be better with attention to details. Cant blame the general staff they are v nice.

Värt vartenda öre!!!

Mysigt hotell med fin utsikt (om man har utsikt mot poolen + havet som oss). Vi bokade All-inclusive vilket var mycket bra. Dem har varierande mat från lunch till middag dessutom inte samma samma lunch varje dag. Bra variation! Dem har sin egna Beach Bar/Taverna som är precis vid stranden/havet. Vi är i helhet extremt nöjda med detta boende. Värt vartenda öre!

Nach dem Wechsel in ein anderes 5*Hotel ist die Qualität des Rethymno Palace noch deutlicher geworden. Sehr schöne, saubere und gepflegte Anlage. Sehr strukturiert die Arbeitsweise des erfahrenen Personals. Nicht nur Aushilfen oder Schüler:innen beschäftigt, sondern auch motivierte ältere Mitarbeiter. Sicherheitspersonal vorhanden. Wir empfanden es als ruhiges Hotel. Zwei mal die Woche kretischer Abend. Wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall.

Hotel war sehr gut, Räumlichkeiten waren sauber sowie ein schönes Zimmer . Der Transfer war nicht wie angegeben Inklusiv, mussten 120 Euro 1 weg Taxi bezahlen. Rezeption fühlte sich nicht verpflichtet aufzukommen für dieses Problem. Schade :(

For mye fokus på all inklusive gjester, om man ikke har det selv. Går litt utover service på steder hvor det ikke er all inklusive gjester. Kamp om solsenger både rundt basseng og på strand. Ikke nok solsenger. Rent og fine rom, men litt små. Fine bad.

Kein 5-Sterne-Service

Wir haben ein Open Plan Sea View für 2 Personen gebucht und beim Check-in ein solches Zimmer in der obersten Etage bekommen. Es war etwa so groß wie bei der Buchung angegeben und hatte einen wunderschönen Meerblick. Allerdings war es bei Ankunft nicht klimatisiert und ca. 30 Grad heiß. Trotz Einschalten der Klimaanlage auf höchster Stufe und dem Versuch bei laufender Klimaanlage zu schlafen, wurde es nicht „kälter“ als 28 Grad. Nach einer schlaflosen Nacht baten wir um ein anderes Zimmer, z. Bsp. 1 Etage tiefer. Wir wurden aber mehrfach abgewiesen ober bekamen Zimmer einer schlechteren (bzw. günstigeren) Kategorie ohne finanziellen Ausgleich angeboten. Erst bei unserer 5. Beschwerde und nach 2 heißen Nächten bekamen wir 1 Zimmer 1 Etage tiefer, welches bereits offensichtlich mindestens 1 Tag frei war. Aber auch hier war die Klimaanlage offensichtlich zentral in ihrer Leistung gedrosselt und eine Kühlung unter ca. 26 Grad Raumtemperatur war selbst bei 24 Stunden eingeschalteter Klimaanlage nicht möglich. Bei unserer Buchung über Expedia hatten wir einen Late-check-out von 2 Stunden mitgebucht. Dieser wurde uns von der Rezeption verweigert und erst nachdem wir bei Expedia angerufen haben und diese mit dem Hotel telefoniert haben, wurde er uns gewährt. Fazit: Ein eigentlich schönes Hotel, aber unfreundliche und respektlose Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, bei denen man wie ein Bittsteller abgewimmelt wird, wenn man das möchte, wofür man beim Check-in bezahlt hat.

Très bel établissement soigné et confortable. Beaucoup d'espace ce qui permet de ne pas avoir l'impression que nous sommes collés aux autres. Le bémol : l'accès à la partie détente (massage, sauna) qui est payant et relativement coûteux au regard du reste.

Disappointing

Beach area did not match the photo it was rough and full of stones very difficult to actually get in the sea without hurting yourself, staff did not ask how our stay was and they charged us for an extra card for our room. The food was not 5 star standard looked like it was going stale. 3 star hotel at best.

Das Hotel ist insgesamt schön das Essen ist abwechslungsreich und schmeckt gut. Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam! Auf Grund von Covid 19 sind die Zimmer nur jeden zweiten Tag gereinigt worden, was uns erstaunt hat und kein Sinn macht. 5 Sterne sind nicht angebracht, gutes 4 Sterne kann man sagen. Am Pool wurde schon morgen früh die Liegen mit Badetücher besetzt! Sehr ärgerlich! Der Dress Code wurde überhaupt nicht eingehalten und auch nicht hingewiesen. yvonne und Claudio

Le pire des hotels. Demie pension ......ne prenez pas cest une blague, nous avons mange dehors tous les jours..... 1 seule clef de chambre pour 4...... Personnel de reception insolent et agressif...... Je fréquente les gotels 5 étoilés minimum 4 a 5 fois par an, celui ci est le premier hotel dont le staff de la reception est aussi irrespectueux et limite insultant, en appelenat la reception pour indiquer que le coffre ne fermait pas le réceptionnistes ma carement raccroché au nez, et a complètement nié lorseqie je suis descendu les voir, la responsable a dit quelle regarderai les enregistrements caméra mais biensure aucune nouvelle. Personnel de la bputique adorables ainsi que les 2 restaurants, mais lhotel est hyper mal géré, le menage na pas zte fait un jour et on nous simplement explique que la femme de menage aetait absente. le directeur n'est sorti nous parler qu'une fois il a pensé qu'il y avait un souci de paiement avec hotel.com et expedia mais ne sest jamais montre lorseque son réceptionniste ma raccroché au nez! Il ne la même pas mentionné. Vraiment dommage que ca soit limage de la grece que l'on a gardé, cest un pays qui a tellemebt besoin de tourisme, mais les gens comme le staff de cet hotel s'en fichent car ils ont un travail! Et ne pensent pas a ceux qui n'en ont pas. Cest clairement le pire des hotels 5 etoiles que jai vu de ma vie, fuyez .....
