  • Located on a hill between Atsipopoulo and Kastellos, Villa Olymp was built in traditional Cretan style from solid stone. It has magnificent views of the mountains and the sea and is surrounded by a 4,000 m² plot with a beautiful Mediterranean garden.
    Here at Kretafan you can relax!

    The villa has 3 bedrooms with handcrafted beds, as well as 2 bathrooms and a guest toilet. One bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom with large sink and shower, as well as one bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with 2 single beds. The second bathroom can be reached from the hallway and has 2 separate sinks and a shower.

    The spacious living area is the heart of the villa, because from the entrance there is an indescribable view of the sea, which can be seen through the large panoramic windows. The high ceiling with wooden beams emphasizes the width and generosity, as do the 2 arches that separate the living area from the kitchen and bedroom. The villa has been furnished with great attention to detail.

    The fully equipped kitchen adjoins the spacious living area and creates a connection to the covered outdoor area.

    This means that luxurious living comfort is spread over 165 m², where you don't have to miss out on anything.

    The spacious outdoor area has 2 covered shaded areas, as well as a heated 4 x 8m pool plus a separate children's pool, all with sea views.

    A sheltered outdoor shower is also available. It's not just from the roof terrace that you have a magnificent panoramic view of the mountains and the sea.

    The pool can be heated. Pool heating is not included in the price and will be charged additionally. Price on request.

    The pool is not in operation from December to the end of March.

    The length of stay from December 1st. until 31.03. is at least 28 nights. During this time, no interim cleaning is included.

    The length of stay from April 1st. until May 21st is at least 7 nights.

    From April 1st - 06.11. Additional costs are included in the rental price.

    Check-in time is 2:00 p.m., check-out time is 10:00 a.m. Early check-in and late check-out can be booked if available.

Perfect price location to catch sunrise/sunsets, though you definitely need an SUV to reach the property. Easy check in process and high quality construction. Will definitely be returning!

Stunning

We totally loved this villa, the view is stunning and you really must hang around for the sunset. The location although slightly remote is central to get to Rethymno and also the beaches in the south. Josef couldnt have been more helpful both prior to our stay and during. Would absolutely recommend and we will definitely be returning.

Wir verbrachten als Familie wunderschöne zwei Juli-Wochen in der Villa Olymp und genossen neben allem Luxus, den die Villa zu bieten hat, ganz besonders den abendlich fantastischen Sonnenuntergang. Der Blick vom Haus aus ist atemberaubend, in Summe eine ruhige Lage. Rund um Rethymno ist es im Vergleich zu Chania und Heraklion weniger touristisch, was wir ebenfalls sehr genossen. Die Familie Beibl und ihre Mitarbeiter/in, in unserem Fall, ganz besonders Frau Buschmann, sind von Anfang bis Ende top organisiert und immer ansprechbar. Probleme wurden wirklich umgehend gelöst. Zusammenfassend bedanken wir uns daher für die schöne Zeit und können eine Empfehlung mit fünf Sternen ausstellen! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Familie Müller aus Gießen

Traumhafter Kurzurlaub

Wir hatte einen wundervollen Aufenthalt, das Haus ist wundervoll ruhig gelegen in einem großen Grundstück mit Meerblick. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, alles ist sehr sauber und ein wundervoller Kontakt zum Vermieter. Wir können das Anwesen nur empfehlen!

Très bon séjour dans la villa Olympe

La villa est très belle, très spacieuse et fonctionnelle. La vue sur la mer est sublime. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs en cas de problème. Il faut savoir qu’elle est assez isolée, et que le chauffage de la piscine est en supplément ( ce qui n’est pas précisé dans l’annonce). Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et avons vraiment apprécié le logement !

We had a fantastic stay at this villa. It is well equipped and has fantastic facilities. It is beautifully clean. We would love to come back to this villa, the only thing we would change is the hire car we rented. The road to the villa is off road and quite bumpy, so we would get a 4x4 next time.

We had a very enjoyable week. The villa itself was modern clean and airy, the pool and terrace are fabulous with great views towards the sea and to the mountains and we enjoyed some truly stunning sunsets. Josef was a charming and helpful host who kindly provided fruit and provisions on arrival as well as some freshly laid eggs during our stay. However whilst the villa and views are unquestionably five star, the downside to this is that the 'road' to get there is minus one star. It is a rubble strewn track that is not really suitable for anything bar a 4 x 4. This was not made clear on this website and although passable with care in ordinary vehicles it is so rough that it becomes a chore. If you have the right vehicle however the property itself is fabulous and there are many beautiful beaches and sights within reach. If you like isolation and to get away from it all then this is the place for you- although there are another three villas nearby on the hillside, they do not diminish the sense of privacy and peace that you can achieve here.

Das Haus und die Betreuung vor Ort hat alle unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen !!!! Das Objekt war in einem perfekten sauberen Zustand wie wir es in Südeuropa bisher noch nie gesehen haben. Vom Garten bis zum WC alles TIP TOP. Der Blick von der Terrasse, und aus dem Wohnzimmer, ist einfach nur atemberaubend schön. Die Bilder sagen ja fast schon alles, aber in Natur ist es einfach noch viel besser. Familie Beibel hat uns rundum super betreut und ist jeder Zeit für die Gäste da, auch das haben wir bisher noch nie so erlebt. Für das gesammt Paket können wir 5 Sterne geben und würden gerne noch ein superior anhängen.

Fantastische Villa, gigantische Ausblick

Die vorhergehenden Bewertungen sind nicht übertrieben. Hier bleiben wirklich keine Wünsche offen, und die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einzig die Anreise, in unserem Fall spät abends im Dunkeln, über einen 2km langen, unbeleuchteten Schotterweg war etwas abenteuerlich. Ein 4radgetriebener Mietwagenwäre hier sicher sinnvoll, ist aber nicht unbedingt notwendig. Wenn wir Kreta noch einmal besuchen, kommen wir sicher wieder hierher.

Traumhafte Ferienvilla mit Blick auf Berge u. Meer

Wir (6 Personen) verbrachten 1 Woche Ende Mai 2013 in dieser traumhaften Villa mit einem grandiosen Blick auf das Meer, den Ort Rethymnon und die Weißen Berge. Die Villa liegt auf einer Anhöhe mit 3 anderen Ferienhäusern am Ende eines abenteuerlichen Schotterweges (der nur am Anfang mit 6 Personen u. Gepäck etwas mühsam war). Die Villa ist sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet, alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. An Einrichtungsgegenständen hat nichts gefehlt, wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Besonders geschätzt haben wir die deutschen Fernsehsender, den freien Internetzugang und die Musikanlage mit IPod-Anschluss. Sogar Poolspielzeug, deutsche Bücher und ein Spiel waren vorhanden. Wir haben den Außengrill mehrmals genutzt, sehr praktisch war auch die Außendusche, da in den ansonsten sehr modern und funktional eingerichteten Bädern die Dusche offen war und somit nach dem Duschen schnell "Land unter" war. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die herzliche persönliche Begrüßung und Betreuung von Helga und Josef vor und während unseres Urlaubs. Auch die vielen praktischen Tipps und Empfehlungen, die in der Villa auslagen, haben wir genutzt und waren für uns Kreta-Neulinge sehr hilfreich. Die angebotene Vermittlung eines Mietautos verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert und können wir nur weiter empfehlen. Die Villa ist genauso schön wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen ist - die 4000 qm um die Villa herum sind auch inzwischen sehr viel üppiger und farbenfroher begrünt. Durch die Lage der Villa und die großzügige Gestaltung des Außenbereichs mit überdachten Sitz- und Liegeflächen und dem ausreichend großem Pool war man trotz der Nachbarvillen sehr gut lärm- und sichtgeschützt. Gut einkaufen kann man in den kleinen Supermärkten in Atsipopoulo oder im Lidl oberhalb von Rethymnon. Rethymnon ist ein zauberhaftes Hafenstädtchen mit einer schönen Altstadt und vielen kretischen Geschäften und Restaurants. Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung lohnen sich, der Strand in Richtung Georgioupoli ist sauber und hat ausreichend Parkplätze sowie Schirme u. Liegen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Ferienvilla weiterempfehlen.

Entspannung pur

Die Villa ist niegelnagelneu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist alles da: Geschirrspüler, WM, Mikrowelle, Fernseher in jedem Zimmer, freies Internet - sogar ein Milchaufschäumer. Alles ist sehr sauber. Das Haus liegt ruhig auf einer Anhöhe mit einem sehr schönen Blick. Ein Auto ist zwingend erforderlich. Die Zufahrt ist zum Teil ein Schotterweg, was den Fahrspaß nur vergrößert. Eine Autoversicherung ohne Selbstbeteiligung, mit Reifen und Unterboden ist zwingend erforderlich. Der lokale Pizzadienst macht und bringt leckere Pizzen (PizzaPlus in Atsipopoulo). In Rethymnon kann hinter der Burg am Wasser kostenlos geparkt werden. Die dortigen Restaurants und Altstadt sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren schnorcheln und baden. Das Wasser ist sehr schön. Wir sind jetzt total entspannt und werden sicherlich wieder kommen!
