We had a great time and owner was quick to respond to any questions and even followed up to insure everything was OK. We would all love to come back again some day. "It's not a luxury hotel, the TV was small there's no free breakfast, but I stayed there a few times and it is always clean bathrooms are clean the rooms are clean the staff is friendly and the prices inexpensive and doesn't change a whole lot when school is in session and the other hotels double their prices. It's a no frills place but if you need a place to stay it's good"

"We were at the Avon Inn for a very brief overnight stay, motivated by history behind the institution. As the sole remaining hotel from Avon's history as a destination for its springs, it is still the center of a lovely small town. Service was friendly and efficient and we would have been glad to spend another day or two there."

"The room was very clean. It was right off the road so there was the noise of traffic. It also is right above the restaurant outdoor dining/bar area and it looks like there is live music there often so that may be unappealing for people looking for a quiet lake getaway. There is an excellent restaurant on site with beach front tables and a marina. It looks like it gets very busy there on weekends with boat traffic and tourists. No central office so check-in was at the bar. Overall a very nice place to stay."
