Unlike many restaurants, the vegetables came with the main course options and not priced separately . To drink with the evening meal , orkney stout was recommended and was delicious. "

"Paul met us at the property and talked us through all the cottages features and discussed the local area. Cottage was immaculate and spotless. Very comfortable beds and a great nights sleep. If you are doing the NC500, then this is a perfect stopover and very tranquil. Would highly recommend."

Staff attention/breakfast service could’ve been better, a bit shambolic; tea no milk, toast no butter, quite basic points but fell short of expectations given the price of rooms and quality in other aspects "
