"The hotel is very typical of a small Greek island, very well maintained, although rooms are a little dated. The bar staff very friendly and lots of choices on the drinks list. "This was our fourth stay here, and it has become our go-to hotel to relax. The food continues to be of a very high standard, and we thoroughly enjoyed it throughout our stay. One small suggestion though – please don’t keep the red wine in the fridge! The addition of the new speciality restaurants is a real bonus. Both the Indian and Mexican restaurants were excellent and were definite highlights of our holiday. The water park is another fantastic addition and adds even more value, especially for families. There are a few areas where some maintenance is needed, particularly around the pool bar, but nothing major. More importantly, the rooms are starting to show their age and could do with a little TLC and closer management oversight. Our room was comfortable, although we had booked a double bed and were given two singles pushed together. It wasn’t a major issue, but when you book a particular room type, it’s nice to receive what you’ve requested. We also had to ask for shower gel and other toiletries to be replenished, which again isn’t a huge problem but is something you wouldn’t expect to have to do in a five-star hotel. We also arrived to find a damaged lampshade, which remained unreplaced throughout our stay. Overall, the theme of our feedback is simple: the hotel needs to focus on the basics. The staff are exceptional and are undoubtedly the reason we continue to return. They are the hotel’s greatest asset. We will definitely be back, but we hope management invests."

"We had a wonderful time at the Olympic Palace on our family vacation. The property sat across the street from the ocean and had designated spot for guests to relax on chairs. The hotel was very clean. The spa was a nice treat- I went twice. There were enough pool areas to accommodate the guests without feeling overly crowded in June. My son throughly enjoyed his pool time in the kids pool area. We stumbled on the kids club one night while we were out and loved that they had that for the children to get all their energy out before bed. The rooms are a good size and our sea view room did not disappoint. Overall the hotel was a wonderful choice for us with plenty to do. The only thing we weren't too keen on was how the wifi worked. We were told that the tv must be on for it to work. It was pretty slow so we weren't fans of that."
