"Perfect hosts in an amazing building! You would struggle to find more genuine, hospitable and friendly people than Carrie and Mike. Outside there is plenty of parking and beautiful grounds. Step inside, the rooms are generous, clean and with everything you could need. The breakfasts are lovely and nothing is too much. We will definitely be back, thank you! "

"I stayed at the hotel for one night with my 12 year old son on his first hiking trip. We requested a nice room with a good view and we were allocated a fantastic room (probably an upgrade) right at the front of the hotel with absolutely breath taking views of the hills and mountains beyond. Not all rooms have such views so don't expect this from reading this review in every room. The room came with a separate sitting room which was also a lovely touch. "Inn is perfectly situated within the walls of Caernarfon Castle, convenient to shops, restaurants and bars. Staff are uniformly friendly and welcoming. My room (#34) was in an old building but had been completely modernized inside, including the bathroom. Room was immaculate and had plenty of well-located electrical outlets. Bed and linens were comfortable. Couldn't find a thermostat but HVAC seemed to be centrally controlled. It was nice and cozy by day and cooled down by bedtime; ditto for the heated towel rack. Breakfast was tasty and came quickly, accompanied by a big smile. Cold items were help-yourself and hot foods cooked to order. Dining room breathed history, as did the bar. Dinner was piping hot and tasty. "
