Scenic walking routes begin practically at the doorstep, with stunning countryside views just a short stroll away. After each day’s walk, it was a joy to return to such a cosy and comfortable retreat, especially the log burner.Our host was exceptionally attentive and friendly, ensuring every detail was just right without ever intruding on our privacy. Their warmth and care truly enhanced our stay.We would not hesitate to return and wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful break in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. "We had a power cut one evening and the lady who runs the cottage very kindly brought round lights and hot soup - with that and beer, bread, cheese and red wine we had a great evening:-)"

"Accommodation was average but the cleanliness let it down. The bedding was clean and fresh but we had old tea spashes on the unit and also someone's old toilet usage was still stick to the pan. "Wasn't the nicest thing to have to clean when I've paid to stay at a hotel" overall would I stay again. Yes I probably would as it may have been a one off... Some of the furniture and decor had seen better days too "

"Our stay was everything we could have wanted, its was a beautiful and spacious cottage. The lounge with log burner was a great way to warm up after a days walk around the exceptionally pretty local area. With a local pub round the corner and one of the best bakeries I have ever been to (shout-out to Seasons Bakery) its in a great location. Our hosts were fantastic and we have all the information we needed for our fantastic little break. I would recommend this place to anyone and will certainly be coming back. "
