"I was given the corner room on the top floor directly above the Pancho Villa Suite. They even let me have a look at the room. My room had two balconies with French doors overlooking the historic centre of Durango. Many famous people have stayed here including John Wayne when he made his movies here. The staff was fabulous and the hotel is like a museum. Fabulous "

"Check in was easy, staff was so helpful and polite. Room was nice and clean. Housekeeping cleaned each day. Free breakfast was included. I had chorizo, beans, and chilaquiles with some coffee. Hotel is surrounded by great food and shops. It has a coffee shop downstairs where you can grab a coffee, sandwich or a sweet bread. Absolutely loved my stay and plan on returning."
