"The staff at check in and check out were very pleasant and professional. The room was very nice and clean-very spacious. We did not have breakfast but it looked like many were enjoying it."

"DO NOT STAY HERE. I'm not sure who is rating this place 5 stars. The room was actually disgusting. There was Hair on the beds, the sheets were dirty and just dingy. The faucet in the bathroom was shooting out water from the bottom. The doors were cracked with tape all over. I'm still in shock. I'm writing this review at 12:30 am as we're driving back home to Wisconsin instead of sleeping in that place. I truly feel like the reviews left for this place are fake. I feel completely deceived. I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel but I would at least expect better. Also the area was a bit shady, the back doors were broken and unlocked and literally anyone can sneak in there. We left our key in the room and ran. If you wanna refund me that'd be great. Otherwise I guess I'll eat the cost and move on with my life. Do better."

"The only reason to stay here is because it’s close to St. Olaf. Half the time there’s no one at the front desk, while I’m sure someone is watching, it doesn’t feel that secure. Everything in the room felt junky and pieced together with old extension strips. I think this hotel has been around too long…"

"Staff was excellent. Very fast check in. Stayed on a Friday night so was a little loud with activity outside. Very close to a busy intersection and freeway and 24/7 McDonald’s Donald’s drive thru. So could here loud accelerations all through the night."

"Beautiful "

"The hotel was older but some things had been remodeled in the past several years, and it was very clean. We were only staying one night and didn’t get there until about 7pm, about an hour later we heard a train that sounded like it was about to come through the room. I was hoping it was the last train of the night or something because no where that I saw the hotel said anything about a train being 10 feet away from the hotel. Unfortunately the train came by 4 or 5 more times by the time we got up in the morning, and yes it blew its whistle several times every time it came by. When I said something to the lady at the desk when we checked out she was rude. We will not be staying there again even though it’s in walking distance to the college my daughter is starting next year. "

"Overall great hotel. Nice enough rooms for a solo travel and good prices. A few restaurants within walking distance. It's also right off the interstate highway so heading anywhere around town is pretty easy. I will say it's sucks not really having a breakfast as it's just a few pastries pre packaged. Hot tub was definitely a nice touch. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful."
