I thought it might be a little sketchy with the Adult Store right across the parking lot, but I was completely mistaken! Everyone from the gas station to our motel neighbor was easy-going. "I grew up in the area but had never had an opportunity to stay here before. Joanne was supper helpful and kind, obviously loves this lodge. Our room (#1) was spacious, and there were food offerings (in addition to our welcome gift of zucchini bread) across the street, and a few places nearby. Although close to the street, we found the rustic appeal of this lodge overwhelmed the noise of the traffic, that depending on where you stay in the lodge you might not hear at all. Will stay here again if given the opportunity. Joanne is the best!!"

"I loved everything about the staff and hotel except the pool. I had planned to use it until I saw that it was dirty with hair and stuff floating on the surface of the water. I checked it both days I was there and decide not to use it. "

"This is our second time renting this wonderful place. The view of the lake is unparalleled which you can see perfectly from the large deck. The house is roomy and very private. The kitchen is stocked well and we also used the traeger grill. We will be back again for sure"
