"This was a clean no-frills hotel for an overnight stay. I was disappointed because I asked for an extra blanket but they didn’t have any, I thought that was weird. But other than that no problems."
Still Waters a secluded quiet lake front home close to Hampden Sydney & Longwood

"Still Waters is so peaceful and relaxing. The place was clean, cozy, homey, comfortable, and inviting. Every detail, from the rocking chairs on the porch to the decor to even the coasters, was a blessing and added to the ambiance. Me and my best friend spent the weekend there to get away and relax, and it did not disappoint. The owner was amazing and very friendly. There were no problems. The swing by the lake was icing on the cake! We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs, reading our Bibles, praying, and reconnecting with nature. 5 stars is not enough, so I will just leave 5 in the comments. Thank you for sharing Still Waters with us. We are so blessed and definitely plan on returning!"

"The adventure is great and extremely close to the High Bridge Trail. It’s 5 miles from the High Bridge itself. The cabin is small and cozy and the porch is wonderful. The Host responds back to you almost immediately if you have any issues."

"Thank you for a great stay! It was fun to come back to Powhatan and see how much the downtown area has grown. The location was perfect, with restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The home was spacious, comfortable, and just the right size for our stay. Everything was convenient, and communication with the host was excellent. We really enjoyed our time here!"

"Everything was wonderful. The cleaning crew needs to focus more on ensuring the bathroom is clean as in the floor and toilets and tub is HAIR FREE !! every room I've been in so far the bathroom is always neglected.. that should be the very first thing that's gets taken care of in the rooms ."
