"We had a great 10th anniversary trip at Kimberly’s garden cottage. Drinking coffee on the back porch each morning and exploring the garden was lovely. There are hummingbirds, butterflies and a variety of plants. Bed was comfortable, good water pressure and the kitchen/bath had everything we needed. The location was private and it was a quick trip into Montpelier, and convenient to hiking (Camel’s Hump & Mt Elmore 45 minutes) and some great local ponds. Would definitely come stay again!"

"The location of the house and barn is excellent. For whatever reason we did not pickup on the fact that there are two buildings. Since there were only two of us we only used the house. Also there is no A/C in the barn. The house is an antique so it has a lot of charm. It is well equipped and we found it to be a comfortable place to spend 2 weeks. "Great location to the sights of Vermont. Spacious home for 4 adults. Everyone had their own bedroom. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen is small but fine to make adequate meals. But for us , we like to do takeouts when on vacation. This home is on the water, making great views. Too much sea grass to get over to swim but there are kayaks to enjoy."

It was a charming place to stay. We used it as our home base for the week while we visited Kennebunkport & Portland for a couple days. Location is perfect & quiet. Quick & easy to get to downtown Stowe."

"If you are good with an authentic rustic environment- complete with small rodent catch and release trap under the stairs, a little water coming in the bedroom ceiling when it rains, bugs galore, and supplying your own drinking water— then OK. Everyone else consider yourselves forewarned. There has been absolutely no maintenance done on this property in decades. The local staff are wonderful."
