We recently stayed at this property with our dogs and appreciated its convenient location—very close to the convention center and other local spots. The house has a lot of potential and, with some updates and attention, could become a really welcoming destination. At first glance, the home looked nice and clean, but after spending a little time there, we began to notice a strong animal odor, particularly a lingering smell of pet urine throughout the house and a litter box-like smell in the bathroom. We always kept our dogs crated any time we left the house, so we were careful to be respectful of the space. The house is older and could really benefit from a deep, thorough cleaning. The bathroom, while functional, has no outlet and some mold around the tub that needs attention. The beds weren’t especially comfortable, which made restful sleep a bit difficult. The backyard is fenced, which we appreciated, but several sections of the fence are down or loose, meaning a medium-sized dog or larger could easily jump over it. There’s no grass, just dry leaves, and unfortunately, no seating area either—it has a lot of potential to be a great hangout space with a bit of work.Overall, this property could be a wonderful place with the right care. It has a great layout, a good location, and the charm of an older home, but it does need some updates, repairs, and a deep clean to make it truly comfortable.
