"It had been a few years since I stayed there but it was great just like it was when I first stayed there. Very nice hotel room with great access to everything. "

"The hotel was great. The only issue I had at check-in was that I ordered a room with the view of the lake in the back of the hotel. I was told that the room I got was the room I would get. Usually I would argue, but I was celebrating my wife's birthday and did not want something like this to ruin her day."

"This hotel has a funky, original vibe without an "original" price. It's extremely affordable, with three big "FREEs"--free breakfast, free parking, and free WiFi. It has extremely clean and spacious rooms with sleek total bathroom remodels. The front desk staff are much friendlier than you usually find at this price point. The only heads-up regards the walkability and location touted by third-party booking sites. This isn't a neighborhood for strolling or sightseeing. While NRG Stadium, decent dining, and other destinations are relatively close, you would do as any native Houstonian would do: you drive."
