Vastaanotossa oli "melko hupsu mummeli" auttava englanti, lupaa paljon, mutta ei oiken pidä mitään. Vaati maksun heti ja lähetti meidät 1.yöksi paljon halvempaan hotelliin. aamupala oli maksettu joka aamuksi, saimme sen ainoastaan viimeisenä aamuna klo 10.30. Että ei tästä hyvä maku jäänyt, kylpehuone oli siivouksen jälkeen ok ja amme+. Viimeiseksi yöksi saimme jopa tyynyliinat!!!!!! Antaapa olla, Hyvä kello kauas kuuluu, huono vielä kauemmaksi.

Très bonne situation. Chambre très bien. Petit déjeuner très bien. Aucun accueil car il n'y a pas de réception. Il faut sonner pour se faire ouvrir, sans jamais voir personne, et trouver sa chambre sans indication. Aucune information sur l'emplacement des chambres, le lieu du petit déjeuner, la sécurité, l'heure à laquelle libérer la chambre etc.

Henkilökunta ei puhu tai ymmärrä englantia joten asioiden hoitaminen hankalaa. Hotelliin pääsee sisälle vai soittamalla ovipuhelinta kaikkina vuorokaudenaikoina, joka hyvin epäkäytännöllistä. Beautiful location

The hotel is located within the Art Nouveau district and is within a 10 minutes of so much. We arrived to Riga by bus and was able to take public transportion to the hotel. As we walk along the street at night, we felt very safe regardless where we walked. You cam tell the hotel was an old building but has been upgraded. But no elevator and house keeping was done late in the evening.

Enkelt og rimelig hotell i flott nabolag

Overnattet én natt alene på Elizabete Hotel. En liten språkbarriere, men det var uproblematisk. Betjeningen var hyggelig og hjelpsom, og beklaget til og med når jeg sjekket ut over at rommet var lite (noe jeg ikke hadde reagert på). Beliggenheten er flott, med grei gåavstand til gode restauranter. Frokosten var enkel men god, med svært god kaffe. Eneste ankepunktet jeg hadde var at det gjerne kunne vært en vifte tilgjengelig på rommet, ettersom det var rommet var ganske varmt. Men utover det har jeg ingen problemer med å anbefale Elizabete Hotel.

Één zeer gezellig hotel met een heel lieve gastvrouw. Geen 5-sterren hotel en dat merk je ook aan de details maar daarom zeker geen reden om niet voor het hotel te kiezen!

Enkelt och billigt med bra läge

Hotellet låg en bit utanför själva stadskärnan, men ändå med promenadavstånd till det mesta. Jugendstilmuséet låg runt hörnet. Receptionen var obemannad, men personalen (som verkade bestå av en person) fanns tillgänglig på telefon när vi behövde något. Standarden var väldigt enkel, men vad man kan förvänta sig med tanke på priset. Enkel men mättande frukost. Rummet städades inte under vår vistelse, men var välstädat när vi anlände. Mycket trevlig personal!

Art Nouveau Setting

We didn't get maid service one day. The breakfast was pre-made and was not what we usually eat since we are vegetarian. But the cook made me some porridge when I asked. The location is the famous Elizabete Street, which is well known for its Art Nouveau architecture.

Character hotel in the Jugendstil District

This is definitely a character hotel. It is in the Jugendstil district - very close to the Art Nouveau Museum on Alberta iela and the amazing town houses on the surrounding streets. The hotel may be old but the big-hearted manageress will do everything she can to make your stay comfortable. The room was comfortable with a good hot shower, efficient wiFi and a TV. Breakfast is a buffet with fresh coffee on tap and a range of foods though strangely no fruit juice! You can store bags during the day after check-out for no extra charge.

The Human Touch

Elizabete Hotel might not be considered a 4 or 5 star establishment, however the excellent experience and service give this hotel a 5 star review. The rooms are quaint, neat and clean. The location is great, walking distance to the Old Town, with shops nearby if you need to pick up a missing toothbrush or want some snacks. What sets this hotel apart from the others, is the outstanding service. Staff is attentive and caring. They went out of their way to assist my aging mother. She was treated as family by staff as they helped her with every aspect of her stay. Safe and secure, I would definitely recommend this hotel not only for its very reasonable prices, but for the human touch added to our traveling experience. If you want a fancy place, look elsewhere. But Eleizabete Hotel, goes above and beyond the service you can expect at a larger or more posh location.

Gute Lage mit sehr angenehmen Personal

Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr schönen Straße. Von dort aus sind die Altstadt und viele andere Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. In der unmittelbaren Nähe befinden sich nette Lokale. Die Zimmer sind individuell eingerichtet und komfortabel. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Clean but not very well organized

We had to wait our room for a while, since there seemed to be some problems with the papers. The man at the reception was nice and tried real hard, but the older lady interfered and got things all mixed up. When we already got our keys, she took them away and tried to change our room to another one. After spending a night out, nobody answered to the intercom. Finally, the lady arrived and let us in. She hadn't mentioned the number that we would have needed to dial the intercom to get in... The room was clean and all right, however.

Отель расположен в красивом районе в окружении домов в в югенд стиле и различных посольств. Первое впечатление было положительное, но приглядевшись, обнаружилось ряд недочетов. В номере было очень душно. Уборка была весьма посредственная, под кроватью валялся использованный презерватив. Номер был достаточно просторный, но уже изрядно обшарпанный. Кровать скрипела. У нас был номер на 3 этаже, куда вела крутая, плохо освещённая лестница. Завтрак подаётся в подвале, выбор ограниченный. Останавливались с ребенком. При выезде содрали дополнительно 7 евро за завтрак. Своей парковки нет, на улице достаточно дорогая платная парковка, в восресенье бесплатно. Обслуживали нехотя, как будто делали какое-то одолжение. В целом, были разочарованы. В Риге, за те же деньги, есть более приличные отели.

Sehr zentral gelegenes und angenehmes Hotel

Das Hotel befindet sich sehr zentral im Jugendstilviertel von Riga. Von hier aus sind es 10 min zu Fuß durch die schönen Parkanlagen zur historische Altstadt von Riga. Wir haben alles zu Fuß erreichen können. Das Hotel ist sehr angenehm, ordentlich und freundlich. Es ist das passende Hotel für einen City Trip, wo man eher draußen in der Stadt unterwegs ist.
