"Superb stay in extremely comfortable B&B. Exceptional welcome and local advice with directions. Perfect for overnight stop en route N or S ,a pity really to write that, as out of winter it would be great with family, as they have a large garden , garden room with self cooking facilities. Also top class restaurants in pretty villages, a short drive away( but not walk). "

"This place would have been what it promised, a place of dreams: remote, rural, beautiful, wonderfully appointed, easygoing, friendly. BUT. After going quite a long distance out of our way to find this special place, being greeted by the friendly owner, moving into our room, and hitting the pool, the owner returned to tell us that he had double-booked the room, and we would have to leave. So we had to get out, get dressed, and leave to make another drive to find another hotel (sight unseen)......

"Un excellent séjour du début à la fin. Accueil, nuit, petit-déjeuner en terrasse privée dans le jardin, personnel, endroit historique très bien conservé : tout fut parfait. Ne pas se fier aux photos, elles ne reflètent pas la qualité de l’endroit et je l’ai d’ailleurs indiqué à la propriétaire."

"This property was extremely good, unfortunately its location was a let down. Now normally I would accept as my responsibility when making the booking, but the link on Expedia pointed to a totally different hotel in the city. Event the hotel clerk was shocked when she tried it herself. So we had a hotel far out from where we wanted to be."
