"Pointe-au-père est près de Rimouski, à quelques pas de la piste cyclable et à quelques minutes à pied du phare, du musée Empress of Ireland et du sous-marin à visiter, ça vaut la peine! Le personnel est sympathique. Ce n'est pas un motel de luxe, mais bien pour le prix. À l'arrivée, en fin de journée, la chambre (mini-appartement) qu'on avait réservée n'avait pas été faite, mais on nous en a donné une autre en nous permettant d'y rester sans avoir à déménager pour les deux jours suivants. Il est important de réserver une chambre, un mini-appartement avec vue sur la mer, sinon, la vue sur la cour arrière n'est pas terrible. Si on peut se le permettre financièrement, les chambres ou cabines du côté de la mer (côté nord de la 132) sont sans doute plus intéressantes que celles (du côté sud) qui sont séparées de la mer par la 132, route passante. On a réservé un mini apprartement avec cuisinnière, micro-ondes et petit frigo, ce qui était parfait pour luncher. Malheureusement, le four de la cuisinnière ne fonctiionnait pas, mais on nous a offert un dédomagement. Apprécié!"
