The hotel was very nice, although tucked away from most shopping or dining places, the restaurants and bars were good. Our only negative was the breakfast was a little expensive and the spa service asked if we wanted firm pressure or light pressure and even though we asked for firm pressure and told the lady we wanted firm pressure it was more of a Rub down than a massage. Otherwise we enjoyed everything about our stay.

Incredible don’t stay anywhere else in Rio. This is the only hotel with a private beach and pool connected. It was very lovely and safe and secure. Some downsides…You want a room on the left side of the beach or facing just the beach as the other side can be more noisy there is a dog school and they bark all day. There is also construction and knocking bring earplugs to have the best sleep. Also the streets are loud with motorcycles going by. Other than that 10/10 I will be back many more times with friends and family. Also you are right on the mountain with a beautiful view of Copacabana and ipanema beach. Best food in Leblon so safe and fun walking around.

Excellent stay

The Sheraton Grand Rio is an excellent choice in Rio de Janeiro, with beautiful views and all amenities one could desire (excellent tennis courts, beautiful pool area, good restaurants, nice lounge and fitness/wellness area). Staff is very friendly an d the rooms are comfortable. Would stay there again.

We stayed at the property for 5 days. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We love that the beach was private and quieter than the typical beaches in Rio. We would definitely stay again.

I have stayed at this hotel many times when I traveled to Rio! It has a perfect location, wonderful and very helpful staff! Great choices to eat and an outstanding view! Highly recommended!
