"We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Ralph made us feel very welcome and was extremely helpful with recommendations on where to go and eat etc. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed, and was in a great location, minutes from the beach and local amenities, including supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Praia das Maçãs is a very chilled and relaxing place to stay and we met some lovely people. We stayed 12 nights and loved it. Thank you Ralph, we hope to be back! :-)"

"We stayed for 3 nights, the property itself is cozy, with a good use of space, however, access to the bedding area may be limited to able-bodied folks. We were given plenty privacy with access to the barbeque and private garden area. If we're ever in the area again, we'd absolutely stay here again."

"An incredible home in an incredible area. There is so much to do nearby but yet we found that our favorite thing to do in the whole country was coming back to this villa after a day of wandering about. We will find a way to make it back one day."

"We booked this because I wanted to be near the sea = we were actually high up on a rocky promontory but that was fine, view was great and we were not in the midst of loads of people. One issue is parking - we had no trouble but I can see during busy times that there may be. But there seems to be enough, just need to be creative. The house was clean and has everything - no AC but with the sea air, probably no need,. It does take time to get used to the European way of heating water for showers...
