"An outstanding hotel Staff were so friendly and helpful Room was stylish, large, lived the outdoor shower 2 restaurants food was excellent in both and wines very good Breakfast was best in Costa Rica - buffet style - lots of choice and delicious Bar area was fun for a pre dinner cocktail and a fun games room Pool area was lovely and tranquil with a great hot whirl pool for relaxing in after morning activities The free afternoon yogo with Jeremy was fantastic and so nice after a day tubing The trail walks were great for bird spotting and we had a nice swim in the Rio Celeste at the bottom Definetely recommend this hotel "

"Very cute and comfortable house, in a very quiet, rural area, about 20-25 minutes from the Rio Celeste Waterfall Park entrance. Carol was absolutely amazing with communication, was very responsive and gave great restaurants and attractions suggestions. We enjoyed our stay! "

"Great place with nice garden and bird feeders. Had a couple of boat tours arranged by them which were excellent. Very helpful staff even lent us the bars kettle so we could make tea. Food was also excellent"

"Overall- I recommend this place if you are comfortable with shared spaces and have a car. But when I booked this, I thought it was a local hotel room next to a waterfall. It is not, it's a separated room in the back of someone's house and the national park with the waterfall is 15 min away driving. So my review is mixed: Pros: - Very peaceful and quiet - Very clean room - Felt very safe - LOTS to do in the area - Beautiful national park 15 min away (driving) - Friendly hosts - Pet friendly - Little towns are 5 min away driving - Local culture was wonderful to be immersed in. Cons: - Need a car to get around - No way to heat up food or clean anything if the hosts are not there because it's in their main house. You do have a little fridge and coffee maker though. - Shared living space and separated bedroom. I just wasn't expecting this and it made me uncomfortable at first since I am a female solo traveler. So that should be made more clear on the listing. "

"This location is a bird watching, listening, paradise. The cabins are surrounded by lush vegetation and trees. The owner Cede is very friendly and accommodating. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious and reasonably priced. We stayed here Friday Nov. 8, 2024 and were the only guest due to the rainy season. Would love to return when it is NOT raining. The rooms were clean and spacious. A great place to stay and easy to get to with good roads. We toured the chocolate farm before we arrived here and would recommend that you include tis in your travel plans. "
