This is overall a good hotel. I know this review isn't going to sound that way but I rely on Expedia reviews and want others to know what to expect. It is very bare bones. There are basically no amenities. No laundry. The wi-fi is basically non functional. No ironing board (though there was an iron). No microwave. Towels are small and very minimal (we only got 3 for a 4 person room). No hand towels at all and only 2 washcloths. It is also right on a major highway so you WILL hear a lot of traffic noise. This all sounds very negative I know. But the place is well maintained, clean, and relatively up to date. Nice hardwood floors. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Air conditioner worked very well - better than many higher end hotels. Very nice fridge with a totally separate freezer with a door. The location is fantastic. It's 10 minutes from the Wildwood boardwalk and is way cheaper than staying on the island. Don't expect a luxury experience but this is a reasonable place to stay near the shore. Highly recommend.

Air Conditioning was good. Way over priced at $430/night. I would consider this a place to be avoided. Better to stay farther away from the ferry at a cheaper rate with decent amenities. Charged 24 hours in advance of our arrival so we were stuck in the dive for the night.

The Red Roof Inn is pet friendly and the first pet is free. Unfortunately you have to walk your dog outside of the main property because the landscaping needs to be preserved (totally understandable and it looks really nice with new sod and flowers). The beds are not comfortable, but somehow I was able to sleep and my back didn’t hurt when I woke up. The fridge is nice with a separate freezer door. The shower is fine, but the towels are like hand towels and pretty rough. It is a good deal in terms of price and the location worked for us, but it is a 2-star motel so your expectations shouldn’t be too high. It worked for what it was, a feasibly priced place to stay one night with our dog. The pool looked good, but isn’t open yet and it was freezing when we were there so we didn’t get to use it.

The worst beds i have ever slept on. They felt and sounded like sleeping in a ball pit filled springs!! Very noisy location TV did not work A spot light shone through the window all night even with the i’ll fitting drapes closes At $130 a night with dog fee it was a total rip off PS. my dog had a great night sleep…brought his own bed!
