"The room was spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom. The room also had a large comfortable sofa. We were unaware that the room was in the basement level, so natural light was limited to large window wells. I would book upper level rooms next time. The staff was excellent; helpful and friendly. We had breakfast in the cafe which had a fairly small menu, but the food was fresh and very good."

"Great location on the water with an easy walk to Catskill’s Main Street which is a great town. Dated, but clean and functional boat. Fun experience! My only issue is the pool which is noted as an amenity, and it’s not listed as one for the other boats they rent so we booked this more expensive and larger boat because of that. The pool is somehow associated with the marina. I inquired about how we’d use it weeks before arrival and was told they’d check on it. When we arrived we learned no pool available, it was something about the inspector and a new liner. You could tell from rain water on cover that it wasn’t in use and hadn’t been for some time. The creek water was not clean to jump into so if you’re expecting to cool off as we were, that should not be included in your plans. Hosts were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have multiple boats on the marina and work very hard to keep them clean, greet guests and offer boat tours. Ducks were cute and fun to feed. Overall a good stay."

"The place was clean and reasonably priced and perfectly located for a jaunt around Hudson. However one of the lamps in my room wasn’t functional and there was no hair dryer. Small things but noticeable. The details are small but noticeable. But I would stay there again of traveling to Hudson"

"This house is a gorgeous property that is great for large groups. The location is absolutely beautiful and there is a lot of space in the house and on the land. However, the property is not as well maintained as we would have hoped. The pool was not usable for the whole duration of our stay, due to algae growing in the pool (which typically happens due to lack of maintenance). This was really disappointing so we were in contact with them throughout the stay, the local maintenance team tried their best but they were not able to get the pool in usable shape. It's a gorgeous property, and I think with more regular maintenance it would be absolutely outstanding."
Catskill Ski Hike Lake Pet Main St Pool

"We had a wonderful time in this VRBO. We brought our two small dogs with us and stayed a month. We cooked great meals in the lovely kitchen that contains all you need to prepare pretty much anything. Also there is a nice gas grill just outside the kitchen and an outdoor table and seating. We are both at the dining table and the kitchen island. We walked one block to get to the Main Street in Catskill that has many restaurants, shopping and stopping for coffee and delicious hand made vegan chocolates. Our dogs and we took many lovely walks together from this centrally located home. The back yard is quite large, beautiful and fully fenced. We noticed the house is fully set up for families with children (not our case but good to know). Also within easy walking distance of the community movie theatre. We connected to the internet easily and the television is large. There are video games and board games also. The home is light, airy, has a great sun porch and we loved our time there. Patricia, our host, was readily available and always nice (although everything went so smoothly we really didn’t have to contact her much). I have only positives about this listing and our stay here."
