"We had a mixed experience. The house felt a little squalid - fine for students, but a little bit of a shock:- small amounts litter and rubbish in front garden- unmown lawns / unfinished back garden- bathroom had been finished by an amateur DIYer...and had lots of grout where there should have been mastic- Kitchen is well past sell by date with heavily chipped cabinetsOn the plus side:- Location was calm and quiet (albeit backing onto a council estate)- Beds were reasonably comfortable- Space was...

"We had a lovely time staying at Hekuran's property. We were staying whilst attending a work conference and the space was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, accessible, and well stocked, with parking easily accessible. Hekuran had even left us a small welcome gift which was perfect for our first night on arrival. The property is near to local shops and is well connected into the city. Would stay here again :)"

WILDES INNS

WILDES INNS

8/10 Good
"Overall it was a good experience: staff, value, ambience and food. Some elements were disappointing - toothpaste on a clean(?) towel, blood specks on a pillow. And I had requested a quiet room which was acknowledged prior to my visit. I was given a room over the bar courtyard - music played under my window until I requested it was switched off at 9pm up to which time no one had used the courtyard due to the cool weather. Thankfully it wasn't in the heat of summer. And sadly the modern hotel construction meant the room above picked up all noise from movements. I didn't think that a bit of extra thought would have put me in a room that would have offered a more quiet environment which it clearly wasn't, showing either wilful disregard for my request or no thought it through. Did I complain? Did I need to. The damage had been done."
