My room was spacious, with teas, coffee etc. the en-suite was again spacious, and the shower was excellent. I had an evening meal and breakfast, both of which were good value and service was great."

"The room was beautiful - much like the hotel! We had a walk in wardrobe and an extra room with a sofa bed and TV. Very spacious - which was perfect. We had some drinks in the garden room and the bar. Both very beautiful and great selection of drinks. Very much recommend staying here!"

"Four of us rented an apartment in the cloister, which was very quiet and clean. It was conveniently located, not far from the train station and just across the river from York old town. It was great to have our own kitchen facilities. The furniture in the living room was colorful but uncomfortable, springs and stuffing were shot. And the dining table was in a corner only 4 small children could have squeezed into. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms warm and clean. We enjoyed our stay."
