The alternative accommodation offered to me was even further away from our venue and we never got to stay in that one either as the owner who never sent us the address or how to get access to it decided to cancel our booking when we were at the airport about to fly to Melbourne. "We had great communication with our host from start to finish. The home we stayed in was very clean and well appointed, including fresh towels, linen and even a basket full of kids toys for the boys. Parked right behind the door but needed to move through the day, due to parking restrictions. The shower was great and had quality soap etc, the big tv was awesome and we walked to some great coffee (coffee No 8) and a perfect pub meal in the Post Office Club Hotel just a short walk across St Kilda...

"We had 3 families needing a place to stay whilst there was a youth regatta at the local sailing club. This house was in a great location where kids (14 - 17 years) could ride their bikes or walk down the beach to the sailing club. The adults could spread out in different areas in the house. The kids enjoyed having their own space with a playstation, couch and bunk beds upstairs. Albert, the owner, was available when we locked ourselves out and gave us some flexibility with check in and check out...
