"This place is great. Not for it's facilities, but for the honesty, kindness and professionalism of it owner Anska. The bungalow rooms are very simple, with a/cand shower, clean an comfortable and cooectly priced. There is very good food served for breakfast and evening meals if you want them. Anska will take you in his jeep or tuc-tuc to any of the marvelous sites in the area and also do jeep safaris into the local parks to see elephants and other fauna. All at reasonable prices. "I like that it is a boutique hotel. Not crowded as they have a selected number of rooms. Rooms are clean with patio open up to nature. You can even hear the peacocks in the morning.
Bed is very comfortable. Friendly, respectful and kind staff. Beautiful property."
"Such a beautiful gem! The manager was incredibly attentive and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were cosy, and the food was absolutely amazing- one of the main reasons we chose this place, and it truly lived up to our expectations.
Just a small heads-up: the rooms didn’t come with toiletries, so make sure to bring your own.

"As the hotel name suggests the property is located away from the city's hustle and bustle :) you are immersed in nature and its beautiful surroundings. The staff were welcoming and our check in was quick and smooth. Rooms are spacious with all the necessary amenities. There was enough water pressure from the shower head regardless of the negative comments some guests experienced. Food at the restaurant was deeeeelicious and plenty of varieties from Sri Lankan to international cusines my kids enjoyed their dinner and breakfast (ages 4, 8 and 13) Pool was clean and inviting. Now to the spa i cannot thank Andhira enough she was amazing. I highly recommend guests to stay at Sigiriya Jungles if you are looking for peace and quiet in the middle of nature.
