"This was a charming little place very close to the river, restaurants and shopping and just a short walk to the subway. Check-in was easy, staff was nice and the rooms were well-designed, cozy and clean. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely return. "

"Spacious hotel in a quiet neighborhood and reasonable priced. That is the positive. However, the rooms were dusty, there was lack of utensils, dish soap but no sponge, washer had no dryer function, no front desk service and everything just looked dated."

"The rooms are always cozy and quiet, as well as the bathrooms are AMAZING here. I love the japanese style washroom as well as the beds are comfy. Only complaint is they are a little low to the ground, but the only person who had a problem with that was my parents. Other than that this property is so beautiful and quiet and low key, my favorite place to stay thank you all in Kyoto!!"
