"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. "The property is a perfect retreat on Lake Como itself. Our room, 302, was exceptional. With an open balcony on 2 sides. Giving an uninterrupted grand view of the amazing Lake. It was clean and a good size. The only things missing were Tea and Coffee making facilities and the bathroom isn’t very private. I brought my partner here to propose with the background of Lake Como. The staff were absolutely 10/10. The communication before hand leading to our stay. They were exceptional. Thank you for a great stay. "
