"Excellent property"

Motel 6 Corona, CA

"Booked a room for Motel 6 as we were trying to escape the chemical leak issue in Garden Grove, CA. Try to check in and were only then told that air conditioning is broken throughout their entire facility. Rep at Motel 6 (online video Rep) says he will cancel the reservation and I need to contact Hotels.com and let them know that Motel 6 cancelled my reservation and that Hotels.com would contact them and they would confirm the cancellation so I can get a refund. Well, Hotels.com says they tried to call but nobody answered but would follow up. Next day, I get message from Hotels.com that they could not validate the cancellation. So now, I’m screwed out of my payment for the stay that I did not even take/use. Both Motel 6 and Hotels.com has been a huge disappointment. I notified my credit card company to dispute the charges, as I paid for a room that I did not even use and one that was not acceptable by any means, given the fact that their air conditioning was broken. Again… both Motel 6 and Hotels.com has been a huge disappointment and unless fully resolved, may end up never using Hotels.com again."

"The front staff were excellent. We did not like having frozen orange juice for breakfast as the juice machine was not working and the next morning no juice. We also did not like being in the shower for 3 minutes and having the shower go cold. The water pressure was very weak. When I called the front desk I was told that it happens on the 4th floor and to wait a couple minutes and try again. It never did get hot in a couple minutes. We also did not like having our room cleaned every other day. The trash can are way too small!"
