" We were on the second floor and there was no ocean view!!! The pool was very small and very cold!!!! Not really inviting! The internet was fading in and out or not working at all!! Definitely stressed my husband out- which stressed me!!!! Even though they did have a cable guy come in-the problem was still never corrected!!!! On a more positive note-the room itself was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly! The location was also very good! Fun places, a beautiful jetty and great food within walking distance."

"Home was amazing! The cold water valve on the bath tub stopped working while we were there and the moment we noticed it (late at night) and told them they had someone scheduled for the next morning and they compensated us for the inconvenience. Close to downtown and all amenities! I will be staying here again! "

"Do NOT stay here. I stayed for 8 nights. I was told I'd have the whole house & privacy. I was told there was 1 locked STORAGE room. 1st of all, I killed & took pics of 17 roaches, I didn't get pics of the first few because I didn't realize it would be a problem. Also, I have video & pics proving that SOMEONE was staying/sleeping in the locked "storage" room. I also have a pic of a window AC unit in that room. I reached out to Vrbo support WHILE I was still there. They couldn't get a hold of the owner via email or calls. It's now been almost a week that I have been back & the owner's still ignoring them. I've asked for a refund because I didn't feel comfortable or safe there nor was it clean. Someone in another review mentioned roaches but I didn't expect so many. The owner replied that the house is near woods, there's a 6 or 7 ft wide section of wooded area between the house & 1 neighbor. The other side has no wooded area. I've lived in the projects of NJ & I currently live in NC, I understand that SOME bugs/roaches are almost unavoidable, but more than 17 is way too much. The house was a 2 bedroom, 1 bath... But I would not recommend staying there. I spent way too much money to stay for 8 nights with roaches. I was hoping to be able to say that the owner responded & provided me the refund I'm looking for, but he hasn't. He just wants me to eat it, and forget. Support offered a small amount of refund, but that doesn't make up for the horrible stay. I will not forget this. "

"Everything went smooth from communication to checkin to accommodations. Super close to downtown and activity. Highly recommend. "

"Absolutely horrible cottage. Was 100% misrepresented by VRBO. 40 degrees when we arrived to no electricity! No insulation anywhere! Owners do not live near property & took 2 hours to get electricity turned on. 2 tiny space heaters ineffective. Largest window could NOT be closed. Filthy floors throughout. Kitchen light did not work, owner took 3 days to leave new light bulbs at our door. We had to buy a useable frying pan to cook with. Kitchen sink drained onto the ground outside rather than into a pipe. Living room couch in terrible condition. We could go on & on with complaints, how terribly this entire property of 15 cottages are being managed - 14 couples who previously filled all cottages during winter to be together no longer rent at this property due to the lack of reasonable amount of improvements & even basic management. My wife has a lengthy and more detailed list of unnecessary problems we faced. Who can we speak to about false and misleading advertising??? We feel at least a 33% reimbursement would be appropriate!!!"

"We arrived and there were 2 police officers outside and the woman across the street was screaming about a restraining order. We didn’t feel safe and left immediately. I communicated this directly to the owner and he said he would contact the police to find out what was going on. I never heard back about this. The listing stated sleeps 5. There was no way 5 people could stay there unless you sleep on the air mattress that was thrown on the floor by the washer- not in any kind of bag. The pull out chairs were filthy. There was strange soundproofing panels on the wall in the bedroom and found out later that someone lives in the back room. I feel that we should have been reimbursed for the total cost based on the circumstances, but we were only reimbursed for half of the cost. I do not recommend you stay here. "

"Host was fine and easy to contact. The cleanliness of the property was definitely lacking. The cottages are older Florida construction and the three stars are because they are obviously trying but definitely have a ways to go yet. Torn screens and many gaps in the windows allowed the famous Florida insects easy ingress. The dock is new and very nice a perfect place to enjoy wildlife, we saw manatees, sea turtles, countless bird species and dolphins playing in the area was a daily occurrence.The kitchen was not well stocked, the pots and pans definitely on the older worn out side. The bed was very comfortable."

"Overall the stay was decent. The biggest pro was it's proximity to everything we needed oh and the beds were very comfortable to sleep on! There were some nice cool appliances as well especially in the bathroom. The cons however was that some parts of the place didn't match the picture, I'd suggest to remodel & replace some areas for future purposes. But it was an affordable stay and the host was attentive and quick to respond when we had an issue so that outweighs that con. Our stay was good. "
