Riverside Cabin with Gameroom, Deer, & Fishing.

"Be sure to have a good 4wheel drive vehicle, roads are narrow and no sides - tough getting two cars at same time. Cabin it's self - furniture very uncomfortable, it's all wooded theme which is what cabins are for - but hard to sit on. Bedrooms in cabins are not geared toward the older group, bunk beds are kids size and master room on main floor - mattress was terrible and lumpy and if you moved any part of your body - creaked. All bathrooms are tubs and again older crowd - unable to use tub/shower due to fall risk - nothing to hold onto and very deep tubs. The view was beautiful and relaxing, and the deer were everywhere and a joy to see they had no worries and living a stress-free life with no threats of guns. Lighting in this cabin was very low, light in kitchen had yellowish bulbs and very hard to see. When we arrived - WiFi was out for the afternoon and into morning - host was on it and got a service call out there and fixed. Tour the little town of Ellijay - there is a great breakfast place - Corner Stone Cafe, be aware - only one ticket per table, so plan accordingly. The mountains are nice and weather was great."

"Home was right on the river. Beautiful location. If you want to splash in the water or raft it's a perfect spot. It was fawn season and we saw deer everywhere. It was wonderful. Definitely felt like we were in the mountains. Check-In was seamless and the host was very helpful. Enjoyed our stay. Thanks for the hospitality!"

"One of the best vacation homes we’ve ever stayed in! Highly recommend not only for its proximity to so many fun activities for family, but most of all the owners made sure the house was clean, had anything we could possibly need, and felt so much like a home away from home. A perfect family getaway. We will definitely be back!!"

"Riverbend was perfect for our weekend family getaway! Family members of all ages will do great with this location. The bedrooms are very spacious; bathrooms are large and can accommodate a large family’s needs. We especially loved the well equipped kitchen, screen porch overlooking the river, and spending the day playing in the river. The location is quiet and peaceful. We could have spent another day or two and wouldn’t have to leave the house area."

"This is a beautiful VBRO. Very clean, with comfortable beds. Very stocked with amenities. Beautiful view of the water and tons of deer walking around. Close to town. Communication with owner was excellent and she was very friendly. We will definitely return to this property!"

"We loved this cabin. Everything is close by but you still get the outdoors atmosphere. We loved carter's lake and the tubing here on the river. We wish we had brought kayaks. They provide everything you could possibly need. They also communicate fast and friendly. Definitely want to come back"

"Overall, the property was good. It is in a great location with a lot of wildlife every day. The one thing that was a little off was the pictures showing the water. Although it is right on the water, it fails to mention that there is about a 15 foot wall that drops off to the water. Not the worst thing ever, but definitely requires a little navigating to get down to it. When putting the trash in the trashcan, you should be careful because you might wake up one morning to it being overturned and all of the trash pulled out of it like we had. Maybe a trashcan with a lockable lid might be a nice improvement. I would definitely recommend this place for a small group looking to get away to the mountains."
