We had a large party and needed to divide up between a few homes. This house gave us the luxury of being able to spread out and all have our own space. Central location to everything. Would rent again.
My sister and I stayed at the GreyStone House while visiting family. The house is a beautiful antique home that was very clean with a gorgeous, updated kitchen. The check in process was easy and the customer service was above and beyond. We accidently left a cell phone behind, and our host Denise was nice enough to contact us right away and put it in the mail. We would definitely stay here again!
I would recommend some nonslip mats for the bathtubs. I slipped while entering the shower and have likely broken my ankle. Otherwise we very much enjoyed the comfort and convenience of the house.
This is the second time I stayed at this location. And look forward to staying again.
I needed to return to Robinson unexpectedly, we started the reservation process normally and on line. I sent Lorraine a text requesting her to expedite the reservation process. Lorraine and Denise expedited the process and we had a confirmation in 2 hours.
Thank you Denise and Lorraine.
While the house was nice and the kitchen newly renovated as promised, there is an undisclosed "permanent resident" that lives in the upstairs portion of the house that is accessed through the front door. While my one interaction with Kody/his associates was indeed friendly, it was not alwyas quiet as the front door is directly next to the living room and people tended to congregate in the opening and talk loudly. You will also hear heavy footsteps from above and doors closing regularly both upstairs and the constant comings and goings out the front door. Wost of all, either Kody or one of his regular visitors is a smoker and you WILL smell cigarette smoke periodically in the areas for this listing. The smell was worst in the front office space and the 2nd guest bedroom. As someone who is very sensitive to the smell of cigarette smoke, I would not have booked this house if I had known. I did see dead corpses of what was photo search recognized as cockroad parasite wasps, which came out and died during the stay. A bat did make it into the house once and was eventually convinced to leave out of that office space back door.
This property was in a nice location and was exactly as it looked. The only suggestion is that the TV room needs a couch instead of the three chairs as with all of our family there it wasn't enough seating and we mainly hang out in the kitchen to accommodate all of us.
