Beautiful stone country villa in the hills

"The villa is stunning and I don't think we have ever stayed anywhere so quiet. It exceeded our expectations. The road up to the villa is about 1.5 km and quite uneven but well worth it when you get to the villa. The pool and outdoor facilities were great, there is plenty of space inside and it is great that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Michela was lovely host and we had good communication with Michela before and during our stay and when we had no hot water one morning she very quickly organised a plumber and the problem was sorted within a few hours which we really appreciated. We enjoyed a day trip to Rome and to Abbazia Farfa and a walk to Casoprota, with a lovely bar and useful pharmacy and to Collelungo, both lovely villages to explore and just relaxing at the pool."

"Everything was as advertised before booking.Property is high up a mountain at the end of a narrow winding road. Only way to find your way is with an electronic map system.Wonderful view from large outdoor terrace.Well equipped as advertised.Host provides both an info email & a binder in the house of suggestions."

"The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our needs. Best of all were Matteo- surely the best host on earth! Nothing was too much trouble and he was so kind and helpful. Plus- the restaurant had some of the finest food and the most wonderful relaxed atmosphere. I felt that we truly experienced a slice of rural Italy here. Thank you! "
