"This is a rare find; a 13th century castello, lovingly restored and converted into comfortable and atmospheric apartments. There are magnificent views across Umbria. You are within reach of Spoleto and Foligno. Only problem; finding it. I strongly suggest that anyone booking it should make sure they get a precise map, because it is in the middle of nowhere. Naturalmente adesso sarà passato un po di tempo e qualche aggiustarina si dovrebbe fare! La posizione è più che ottima. Se devo trovare qualcosa che non mi piace sono l'impossibilità di tenere la porta finestra aperta, in quanto sul passaggio principale della struttura e la colazione che non offre prodotti del luogo o brioches fresche, ma surgelate. "The staff were lovely (especially Angelo) and receptionists spoke English. Hotel very clean and light. Rooms decent size. Wi-Fi and TV reception useless! The restaurant was not open and apart from a couple of bars nowhere to eat nearby without walking into the City. About a 20 minute walk into Perugia. "

"The room and breakfast room were wonderful. It was a little annoying that we had to check in and get the keys quite a ways from the bed and breakfast. It would have been nice to make an arrangement to get the key at the room than walk with bag in two different streets. It was a very short walk to the main piazza with a lot of restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Although the furnishings may be outdated, and the castle is a good drive uphill on an Italian twisty-road… we were very happy with our stay here: it’s a castle room! We enjoyed it. Be prepared for bird song in the morning, and beautiful valley vistas. Bring your wine and snacks: there are no shops around! Breakfast was included and it was good. Parking is a bit downhill but on property. Add 15 minutes to your expected drive to all area attractions and you will be fine. Enjoy Giomici castle! "
